The best phone specifications ever! With the slide or joystick off, this is by far the most interesting phone from nokia for me. I am yet to see this live so I can see how it sizes with its Nseries siblings. A very good choice if I may say, but with the nseries trend, I wouldn't count on a good price for this. But the specs are perfect!

Can anyone tell me how to use the nokia wireless presenter under windows vista?
I can't get it working.

not k850...the button arrangement looks like k550...but who cares...it's still a great phone...a complete one so far i should say.

son-of-a-gun! realy great phone. but for me it looks alike another phone that i know... in fact, they're pretty similar... (sume1 sayed k850???) but it pretty neat although

instead of 2.6, nokia put 2.4 inch screen to make it more compact and not to be bulky, coz if u put 2.6 screen it will be wide as the N95.. and the battery is ver descent, it has 1050 mAh againts N95's 950 mAh..
And Of all the 5mp smartphones out there, this one takes the quickest shot.. and this is the new IMAGING FLAGSHIP of nokia..
Cant wait! i'm already saving money! =)

now ithas xenon flash . based from the review here nokia n95 vs K850i, nokia wins in video quality hands down. time for SE to wake up.

Hopefully Nokia will come out with the Black version. I'll wait for it. Looks nice in Silver too, though.

The solution is: buy the N82, enjoy all the good features and put your K850 to the garbage SE fan b i t c h!

The solution may be carrying 2 or 3 batteries in your pockets along with the mobile (which is not small!)... :-))

The battery life is of only 225hrs, similar to that of the N95 which has been very critized since it was made public.
It is not comparable to the N73 because the N82 has a more powerful processor, graphics accelerator, wifi, gps and other enhanced features that consume more battery.
N82 has great features, but you won't be able to use them without thinking twice:
.3.5mm jack but you can't listen to mp3 for more than an hour or two.
.wifi and gps will drain your battery very quickly and you won't be able to make calls.
.VGA 30fps video recording but you will never fill the memory card before the battery goes off...
.N-Gage gaming platform but...
And so on.
With the N81 Nokia improved a lot the battery life. I got impressed, but with N82 they have gone backwards with what was supposed to be one of the best phones to date.
If anyone is curious just take a look to the Samsung i550 or the i560 (both Symbian series 60), they are at least interesting, and the i550 boasts a 1200mAh battery.

I am still waiting for a good nokia phone like this one but in a small size. Nokia now only makes their best phones like bricks !

To say its due in the shops shortly its ranking is low and not many votes??? THere are still a few questions like does it have the sirfstar 111 chip or is it back to n95 like on gadget show where suzzi perry could not get a signal in broad daylight with clear sky in spain,,battery is only 100mA more and will the software stick as much???I wish it had a led lamp as well so you can use it as a torch and after all these years since n3650 will there be a stopwatch /timer at last or will my crys still not be heard after nearly 5 years???Also if the screen is brite enuf (not like n80 but like n73) we can opt to turn the kight setting down to save battery..Dont forget with shipping times,, then reviews,, then publics reviews will we get enough info before xmas,,WHY,,well thats wen most of us use cameras and video and it will be my xmas present to me

And for those complaining about the keys and the absence of pencil key I think you need to wait for this fone to come out to see wath disapointing or good is it. The functionality of the pencil key can be replaced by the number key

I knw this phone isnt out yet but cant you see the battery life in the specification ?
and the screen is not 2.6 inch its 2.4 inch and that is no reason why is has low battery life.
I knw phones which has 2.6 inch screen with 10hrs talk time and 400hrs standby.
This n82 has even poorer battery life than n95.
You dont expect us to carry extra batteries in our pocket do you ?

People I can´t understand why you always complain?? It´s the best announced this year so what else do you want?? A toilet included in it?? A microwave??? A fridge?? I simply can´t understand you!!
For the people complaining the battery:
Isn´t even out so you can´t say it has a bad battery. It´s the same used on N73 and 3250 and has very good durability on this fones.
I think the screen size is good because a 2.6´screen may consume more power.
