In my honest opinion the keypad is really bad,Nokia should have given this phone the same keypad as the N73.Pencil key is a must for me.

The keypad layout reminds me of sony ericsson's keypad. I'm not sure how tactile and responsive they are when you press them. Anyone who's going to buy one let me know how they are. hehe.=)

This phone is the best. I completely agree with the previous comment made, which compares the Nokia n82 and SE K850. Both of these handsets are the same price, but Nokia n82 offers much more plus a better design. I think that the n82 is made out of stainless steel like the Nokia 6300. I looks like Nokia has come out with another excellent phone.
For those who don' like the battery-the more you use the phone, the quicker the battery will die. Have can you guys say anything when this phone hasn't been reviewed yet and none of you guy have this phone yet! When it is available, then start talking.

Nokia why don't you add 1200mAh battery to this phone other wise N95 8GB remains the best choice

Same thickness as the K850 but 10 TIMES BETTER! 10X more features, same 450 euro, not bad! I want one now!

sigh.. There's no pencil key. y did they make it vanish. And from the pics i dont understand wats that small key between right soft key and 'c' key. Is it pencil key. Any1 explain.!! And i just saw both stereo speakers on same side.one on top right side n second one on right side bottom. Not that stereo..NOKIA!! But a person wid both ears on same side will luv it..he he he.

This is an excellent phone at a very reasonable price if you consider the features. The keypad is not based on Sony Ericsson's keypads. Nokia had such a keypad before SE did when you look at the n91. This phone redefines quality. It is made of stainless steel and it has a shutter for the excellent 5MP camera and the remarkable xenon flash. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for listening to music!
For the people who are complaining about the battery life-the battery life is sufficient. If you don't like it, carry around a spare battery, or try to find a battery that is a similar size and voltage, but has a longer life. I am sure that in the future, they wil lcome out with something better.

Excellent features, but how can u use them with this LOW battery life. The design is a copy of Sony Ericsson...Get original...

battery life offers Up to 4 h 20 min, so?
mostly is due to the processor, it's 332Mhz with 128MB of RAM..

The N82 so far is the best piece of work I 've ever seen(NOKIA)cos its got everything plus its a bar phone..... Infrared!!! who cares man when its got WIFI, BLUETOOTH and its a 3G phone.... NOKIA, again I say this is your finest work yet, keep it coming n GOD bless... Am out y'all...

hey i saw someone complaining abt the battery life......im telling you one thing nokia has got the best battery life in all fone brands....so if u complain abt nokia then where should the other brands stand????????

whats wrong with you people complaining that it doesn't have infrared, infrared is so 5 years ago, no one gives a .... that it doesnt have one becaues buetooth is 100 times better than infrared

This phone is excellent and is even better than the n95 in terms of design! What is the battery life?
