I'm planning of getting this phone in December when hopefully its price drops down to around P16k already. This is the overall best mobile phone amongst all Nokia 5MP phones.

Just to add one more thing, N85's slide is far better than my N95 8GBNAM...it's firm! :Hands down:

waleed, 21 Feb 2009guys i want to buy N85. i want to ask that what is the prob... morethe speaker is not as loud as N95 8GB but it's not that bad. it works great with headphones. I don't have a problem with d-pad so far. i like the transitions(using accelerometer) on N85, very smooth even while watching video. another thing that impressed me is that the 36-minute video works in N85 whereas before, i couldn't even play it in N95 8GB. A warning popped up that i have to split it in order to play the video. :p

When I played the 36-minute video on N85, it was a REAL DVD-LIKE experienced. The power Saver & Sleeping mode helps the N85's battery to lasts longer than any other Nokia N Series i have. :)

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2009Hey, I've noticed that both the European/Asian and American... moreI really hope NAM version will work in Philippines coz I'm planning to mail my N95 8GB NAM to my sister since i already have N82 and my 5-day old N85 NAM.
                      ****
What I like in N85 is it has a lot of features that N82 & N95 8GB doesn't have like FP2, optional NaviWheel,uPnP,Msg reader, Text-to-Speech, slim...and, damn! the VIDEO is AAA++++! i don't like the quality of photo taken & the speaker though, I still prefer N82/N95 8GB's. But it's okay since I have a digital camera and I don't usually use the speaker.

It costs $360 when I bought it at Dell with $100 discount(i think?!).

Hey, I've noticed that both the European/Asian and American versions of N85 have 2100MHz HSDPA frequency. So does it mean that N85 NAM will also work in the Philippines since the Philippines uses the 2100MHz band for 3G/HSDPA? Because if it does, then I'll prefer the N85 NAM version over N85-1 since N85 NAM reportedly has much better build quality than N85-1. Anybody can enlighten me about this?
