whats the lifespan of the "AMOLED" screen of n85?...in other website they say its lifetime doesn’t exceed 1000 hours...

Oysned, 20 Nov 2008I am choosing between n85 & n82, any advice guys? Thanks a lot..I love N85... N85 is way better than n82 or n81. I have N81, i like it but I just bought N85 and I am so in love with the phone. Everyone at my work wants it because I live in Toronto and i have never seen anyone with N85 yet.

On battery wise, prepare a spare battery if you receiving lots of call in one day. Actually im facing the battery problem. Is not enough for me if compared with my previous phone " Sony Ericsson 750 "

Just waiting for the new firmware to upgrade it. From what i heard, it will improve the weak point. Even the battery also not lasting.... Hopefully Nokia will improve it.

I brought it through selectGS... moreLol...no bra the game or aplication is not closed its put in the background or minimized when the Red key is used during....just hold ur Menu button and a lisst of alll the running applications will show up....use "c" 2 close it....or select 1 if u wana run it... read ur manual or run the tourtorial video my friend and ull be anlightend;)
coz this is a smart Phone and enddless possabilities lie in front of you;o)

N85 is my first Nokia phone. I brought it through selectGSM.com and got it in 2 days. In Canada, only GSM carrier choice is Rogers, go figure...
Anyhow, the phone is pretty good. At first I was quite disappointed about the Camera photo quality, but after compare a photo taken from a Blackberry 2.0 MP camera, the difference really make me glad. The video shooting is by far my favorite option.
I am satisfied when using the phone for playing games, watching videos and listening musics. I tested the FM transmitter am is so so.
The GPS program is a bit disappointed. It takes at least good 2-3 minutes before it can display my current location. And I still can not figure out why it always point to North on the map when I am driving. My Garmin GPS always tell me where I am heading to, not where i am on the map...
The other frustration I have is the "Red" button on the right. Lot of time when I am playing games and reading, I click the Red button and it quite the applications. The button was too close to the multimedia button and the "Back" button.
So far, I give it 8.5 out of 10.
