I swear the more choices on the market the harder it is to decide, I'm getting dizzy trying to decide. I own N95-2 that phone is wicked. If N85 is just a bit weaker then I think it's worth it. Too bad it didn't have 8gb on board memory plus 8gb external. That would have been the cats meow!

for the frizing of the videos,the problem is the msd card because of 8gb its on the limits of the fhone can handle,there are two solutions,format the msd card on your pc of course you have to back up all files like data,maps.images...etc,or use a smaller msd card, 4gb for instance,you can try your phone by extract the card and try to use your phone memory the phone is faster and no frizing,the problem is msd card,by another one of 8gb and test it.

Nokia N82 is much better than Nokia N79 with same price tag around 20000 INR. It has dual 332 mhz processor where as nokia n79 has only single 369 mhz processor. It also has 3D accelerator. So speed is quite good. It has xenon too. But Nokia N79 is latest model which has feature pack 2. The price of Nokia N79 will come down in january 2009. Nokia N82's price is standard. It won't come down. I'm pretty sure about it. Nokia N82 is a successful model. So you will have good resale value too.
You didn't specifically say what kind of mobile you are looking for. If you are looking for a phone with a good camera. Then you should go for Nokia N82. If you are looking for music oriented mobiles. Don't buy N82. It has poor audio quality.
I don't know about Nokia N79's music quality hence i haven't used it yet. So i can't comment about it.
I'm using Nokia N82 for the past 2 months. I'm completely satisfied with it's overall performance. I love Nokia N82 more than my gf. lol:)

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2008can anyone tell me the bad of this phone? thxxxxxxThe N85 is a very good phone indeed,but if you have had the Nokia N95 8gb mobile it might not worth getting the N85,i found the speakers not as clear an the camera is just a little below the N95 8gb mobile,the slides better an screen brighter, so if you like the N85 get on contract an you can try out for 7 to 14 days before you decide to keep it or return it

Yes the phone is amazing but the info I have is that if you drop the phone the screen easily damages there is also the problem of organic deteriation.

I have my phone on 24/7 so I wont buy N85 will stick with N95 8gb another phone to consider is the blackberry storm, am seriously considering it.
for the 1st time im considering leaving Nokia
