What a boring look, just like the dull N81. I will definitely buy the N79, even with a smaller screen i like white phones. And Nokia sliders are famous for their bad quality (my experience too)

I will wait for another week, if this phones is not released in UK, they can kiss my ass! I'm waiting for this phone now for quite a time...and let me tell you I'm not even the fan of nokia, so the moment is passing by...I mean if idiots at nokia have the guts to announce the phone, then they should have some guts to release it as well...and not tease first, but then keep silent...

They really need to start thinking with their heads and not ass...not saying that they don't have enough brains, but the creativity is obviously missing at their headquaters...but they won't have guts to hire someone with the head on the shoulders...

"Note that the bluetooth, wlan, gps, and fm transmitter antennas are located in the back cover of your device..."

Anyhow, i went ahead and stripped away my old headphones and used its wire to extend the back cover antenna and also that circle connection under the battery. I can finally pickup a gps signal. But its still not the best and will drop. But its progress...

Absolutely agree with you tat it is difficult to slide down though. But does not really bother me actually -- i reckon it is really tough to make a secure 2-way slide.

got my n85 for a week. Everything is exceptional except for the gps. For whatever reason, i can never get a gps signal. i've tried various location where my other phone picks up the signal just fine. Question for those who have the n85, the back panel for the battery should be the antennas for WiFi, bluetoth, and gps. But if you noticed right underneath the battery, to the right side, theres another connection that looks like a circle. Mine does not have a wire to it and im wondering if thats the cause. Thoughts?

btw- the slider is not wobbly. Its firm...too firm that is. Sliding it for the ngage/music player feature is tough. The LED is plenty bright. The battery is amazingly long. I spent 8hrs trying to get my gps working along with making calls and going online, it only drained 35% of the battery. On an average use of 1.5hr talk plus 30min online, you can go 2 days no problem.

All the present & latest version of the N series are finger print magnet. For that matter even their latest 6600 slider is a finger magnet. Unfortunately this is something which Nokia refuses to listen to.
