Hi all,
NOKIA N85 is out standing phone. i have purchased it last week. its processing speed is faster then any other phone having same specifications and v good battery timing. i think it better to purchase N85 as compare to N96. really very smart in design and work. i have copied a movie "007 QoS" (MP4 formate having 320x240 resolution and 900 MB in size)in its memory card and it take only 2 seconds to load for play.

Plankton, 05 Apr 2009Hey guys, I've been wondering, should I buy the N85 now, or... moreN86 & N97 are not out yet so i can't say which one is better but I'm planning to buy an N97 after few months its released. I'm not interested with N86 since the design is alike to N85 and it's a slide phone too so I wanna try something that I don't have yet like with qwerty & touchscreen which is on N97. 8MP? uhmmm.. I have a 10MP digicam. Even though N82 & N95 8GB camera is great, I still bring with me my digicam occasionally coz I don't want to run my phone's battery out.

Hey guys, I've been wondering, should I buy the N85 now, or should I just wait for the N97 or N86?

I don't care whether the N97 is focused on touchscreens, or the N86 on imaging or the N85 for style. I just want a phone with Symbian's S60 OS, and reasonable battery life. What do you think?

I have N82 & N95 8GB for over a year and a 2-month old N85 and I had never encountered a problem for these 3 phones. Maybe it depends on how you handle your phones. I used the speaker and headphones of N85 last night for the first time (I usually used my iPod for music) and the sound was really good! I don't know why some people complain about the volume output?!

Crocsi, 03 Apr 2009Far superior is too much. N95 has 2core processor and 3D gr... moren85 does not need dual processor and 3D graphics processor as it uses OLED display! the refresh rate of this display is so high that it does not demand extra processing power or graphic processor. ah! the advantages of having an OLED...

Look people, anyone who has a problem with the n85 is his problem. I had this mobile for 8 months and it's better than all nokia phones, even from n96(apart from the storage). If u wanna buy it, get it from a Nokia Store and it won't hve any problems. Also, check if it's made in china or finland. PEACE!!

N85 is a good phone. But build quality is very bad. FP2 and menu transition on this phone are nice but software is very unstable and crashes too often. It is a good phone but it is not better than N82 or N95 8GB.

What a sweet device, looks like Nokia may give me this N85 if they cant sort out my N81, it will be the perfect replacement for it. :) can anyone comment on batt life? And if it cn play high res vids at 30fps well? Thanx.
