I am facing diffiulty in updating the firmware to 11.047...My Nokia Software Updater cannot detect the new firmware...I purchased the N85 from India(if country is of concern)..Someone please help....I am still running it on 10.45.....

Tarek, 20 Mar 2009advice for all those who want to buy this phone.. check the... morehey! i have the 02 in my mobile phone. and its working perfect and i've been using this phone a year now with 8gb micro sd. maybe you got your mobile in a black market. my phone is made in china. and now a days, all of our gadgets where made in its either china, thailand, indonesia etc because of the cheaper labor cost. i am working with ROCKFORD FOSGATE USA and some of our products where made in china. and its still perfect.

Hi guys, If you are having problems installing apps in to your phone, than stop frustrating your self here, you can get certificate and app for your phone by me!
Email me PrNc26(at)h o t m a i l. c o m, (no spaces) it's €15.00, very cheep, you'll get easy application to sign and unsign with certificate generated for each phone specially, to be able to sign and unsign any symbian60v3 and symbian60v4 software.
It will take 24h to generate certificate, and after that you can sign apps in second!

If 7th and 8th is 02 it's Hungarian and is very good phone!

advice for all those who want to buy this phone.. check the IMEI No. for this phone if the 7th and 8th numbers are 02, forget about it, it's made in china(bad materials, bad speakers,bad d-pad ). Don't be fooled by the label made in Finland. it's fake.

There is less feedback available for the N85 because it hasn't been out for as long. I have seen so many issues with the N95. I know a lot of people will always stick by nokia, but the N95, as great as itsd features are, just isnt quite as reliable. Id recommend giving the N85 a go. It feels a bit tacky in hand, but its a more reliable handset.

I live in Egypt and I bought this phone today and return it back. it looks amazing in hand especially the gray one, and the display is very good,but anything else is very bad maybe coz mine was made in china. speakers are too noisy with low sound with volume 100%. poor materials, cheap plastic, poor camera. at first place, i like it so much, but now I'm disappointed. I think that I'm going to choose between e71 or n79.

hallo all ...been using the fone 4 3 months now ...n must say its NOT worth the buy!!! nokia phones simply r too slooww...especially in the music , game , application menu .....if u drop it ur sure to c dents or scratches n the camera is only good if u hv rock steady hands n a lot of light around....the flash sucks n fotos r almost always blurred...as compared to ne sony ericson fone...i did a huge mistake by changing my k790i with this one..... buttons stick up often n am not impressed bhy nokia service centers atall.... gps works only outdoors that too after a real long time for initial fix.... navigation feature will take u thru small pedestrial roads even if u choose drive to option
