        Hi people,
First of all a big "thank you" to the staff of GSMArena. They provide us all the information needed for choosing the correct gadget.

I've been using my N86 for a month now, and I'm very satisfied. I'm a camera-centry user so the photo quality is my first concern.

The pictures are nice, very well colored and noise controlled. I thing it's the best camera-phone I've ever seen.

The overall quality is awesome, from the materials used on its construction to the features provided.

Zero problems with it for now, I'm not using the GPS feature yet (not needed at all).

The screen resolution and quality is vibrant! The sun does blinds it but you get used to it. In dim light or dark the colors are awesome.

The battery last from 2 to 3 days (using it as a MP3 player and camera). I text a lot, especially the scheduler.

        Recommended accessory: ZAGG InvisibleShield.

Thank you very much to all, you've been very helpful!

Guys, i know a way to turn off the camera sound. But to do that we need to hack our N86. Shit man, v21 is not hackable.

Nokia respects design, quality and functionality. There is no doubt about that. But sometimes, ...

I have had some great time with the Nokia N86 8MP. The mobile has a great design, good looks and a camera that can easily put to shame some point-and-shoot cameras. The screen is gorgeous - AMOLED s.v.p. - and the resolution is very acceptable for its size.

The weight is on the heavy side but, it oozes with its great build quality. It's a joy to handle the new Nokia N86 8MP and the Nokia people certainly deserve a pat on the back.

But, my experience as a user was greatly affected with some unwanted and sometimes, disfiguring anomalies.

The screen is one of the main plus points of the mobile. It's an Aishwarya Rai in terms of beauty and color rendering. The Nokia N86 8MP is a dedicated cameraphone and I think, no, I am sure that pictures must be viewed on it. Even if the AMOLED display fairs poorly in direct sunlight, it scores in dim and dark light conditions. But one thing that ruins everything is that the screen is not sealed. Some may say it doesn't matter, but the most important thing is that one tiny undesired matter gets through - DUST.

After one week of usage and careful handling, one can easily spot 5-6 specks of dust particles under the screen. After one month, maybe 1/8th of the screen, This ruins everything. The class and stature that emanates from the solid build quality is completely ruined with these tiny annoying particles. I can assure you people, this is the most annoying and saddening part of the Nokia N86 8MP. Please Nokia people, do something when it comes to sealing the screen from outside, the Nokia 5700 is one of the best in this case.

Moving from the screen downwards, we have the alphanumeric keypad. Indeed, a joy to use. The Nokia N86 8MP, being a slider, needs to be accesssed by pushing up the screen part upwards. This is an action that will be done maybe 50-100 times per day, depending on the user. And it's with a heavy heart that I have to say that vertical, used-like scratches appear on the alphanumeric keypad sooner than expected.

Just imagine the new phone you just unboxed and started using 3 weeks ago, it's beautiful, sexy and can easily knock out your friend's dangling camera. Now, when you see it, the screen appears spotty because of the dust and when you slide it open, it appears as if you have used for about a year now.

In my opinion, the Nokia N86 8MP is a great mobile but its user experience is ruined due to these mechanical flaws. The Nokia people should be more careful the next time.

                                  Shiv over and out.
