hi guys..
i'm an n86 user 4 quite some time now..
and man, i'd say that this fone is the greatest non-touch screen fone in the market today, no doubt!!
anyway, i'v got a question..just yesterday, i sold my indigo-colored n86 simply because i wanted to buy the white-colored one..and now, i'm using a white-colored N86 (which i bought also yesterday), and man, it's so stylish.. anyway (again), going back to my question, the software of my indigo-colored n86 says 10.somthing, and my newly bought white n86 says 20.115..
my question is which software is better??coz some people say that the 20.115 has full of bugs, etc??does that mean that the 10.something version is better??

why notxeno... more3rd generation led flash are vry powerfull! Bt xenon are no doubt powerfull dan dual led!!! Bt xenon has a negative point! It cant b used as a camera light during video recording. For 2 reasons! 1:xenon is a sharp light. Led is soft! If u evn take a photograph of a person with xenon it gona blind him for a second or 2. 2:xenon has adverse effects on phones hardware if used for prolong period lik 20min or more. It heats up the hardware n battery is the major component dat suffers earliest, reducing battery life! Led is ideal for shooting night videos! U can push it as muj as u can! N plz note n86 has variable appurture! It does nt need a xenon to give xcessive light in low lighting conditions...
Although many comment xenon wud have made n86 perfect! N i aggree a bit with dem bcuz m yet to use da cam for night videos dat xceed evn 10min!
Bt n86 is nt only a superb n balanced imaging device bt also made to produce gr8 balanced videos keeping every typ of end user in mind!

I duno abt da xact ammount bt high bit rate needz more processing n ram n specific hardware! For playin avi files use divx player. Download it free from divx labs!

Penn, 07 Jan 2010Im having problems with my downloaded videos... its "w... morehey man. this is symbian phone. u will hav to convert the videos to .mp4 formats or 3gp. then only it will play in N86. to play wmv, divx, avi videos u need to download 3rd party applications like core player and so.

Im having problems with my downloaded videos... its "wmv" and so it should play, but it did not. Before i had downloaded a video and it played, but when i downloaded "several" videos they did not play at all... WTF! I upgraded the firmware and i did not know if it messed it up or not... Sould i reset it? if i do, can i upgrade the firmware again and will not face the same problem??? Thanks in advance for the help :)

may i know how much time u all need to full charge N86 from 1 bar..
i need more than 2 hours..even longer than charging E52 from 1 bar..
is it normal..?
the battery 1200 mah, charge 1200 mah too..
logically it only need 1 hour only..
or maybe a little bit longer..
but more than 2 hours is too longer is it..

Everything is good in this mobile but, the N86 lacks the multimedia key which starts the multimedia menu, which is present in n85, n79,n96. The multimedia key in mine opinion is must in such a mobile because the multimedia menu looks more than fantastic.

It c... moreStop writing such things. only a person who has never used a Nseries would say that. when it comes to smartphone capabilities, nokia is at the top. that's what makes it the top in mobile world. the soul purpose of this phone is camera. its just great. check out comparsion websites. nokia Nseries are considered as multimedia computers coz of their allrounder smartphone capabilities.audio quality is also very good. use gud pair of earphones to experience it. its sound quality is close to ipod nano 4g.
