HI,
I bought this 2 month back. i got a problem in camera. its not working. I m going to sell this mobile . in nokia show room itself they saying camera failure in this model, most of the people have surrender the mobile in show room at very low cost

... morei agree man..the FM transmitter, it's really pretty very cool..
considering that the N86 is not music phone, nokia including an FM transmitter in this fone was really very brilliant..
it made the N86 a complete fone even more..

This phone is solid, elegant and has everything built in,
8gb E memory does everything.
AMOLED really rocks.
Camera is Amazing.
Sound clarity, FM transmitter are unbelievable.
Just remember to watch out from those Chinese products
get it made in Finland

for the camera, man, if not the best, it's one of the best camera phone to date..i'm not saying this beacause i own an N86,i'm saying this beacause it's a fact!!^_^ that 8megepixel cam is just really superb..i love it..even better than some 8megapixel digicams out there..
same thing goes for the video..it's really pretty very decent even at low light..those 3rd gen dual leds are really doing the trick..nice..
for the audio, it's not that loud, i'll say it's somewhere in the middle..and i'm satisfied with it..way lot better than the 5730 XM..which i can say is the worst nokia music phone that have been created..a music fone with mono sppeakers??geeesh..trust me..i'm a fool for trsuting that salesperson and buying that fone in the first place..i bought that fone just a month ago and got tired of it just after a couple of weeks..i bought it for 16000 andsold it to a friend for just 12000..simply because it's not worth keepin!!!
nwei so much for that ugly 5730..
well, go for the n86 man..it's definitely worth ur money..the best nontouchscreen fone out there..:)

I want to buy ... moreIt is a good phone, good sound clarity, but not as user friendly as in Xpress Music Phones when accessing Mp3 files (no dedicated Music key).good video recording clarity batter than many 8mp cameras. Over all it is a good phone.

Good idea to get votes going for such a great phone. i own both the n86 8mp and the i8910 hd and camera wise the HD is better but the flash on the n86 is ten times better than the i8910 hd. Even video recording in low light is worth while on the n86. trust me both phones are breath taking with the AMOLED screens. I am yet to hack them both...tell u yall when i do

Ri, 23 Oct 2009Hi Brynn, Can you tell me if you know, does the video r... morehello Ri,,this is difficult its so long since had n95..Firstly if you read gsm arenas review they give you a sample to play ..Thats what i am getting and find it very good but even better on the n86 screen itself..I have lcd 22 inch 720p tele and it probably degrades about 30-40 percent in quality when viewed that big and its quite watchable ..Thats about as good as i can give you but other people should chip in with comparisons..I would say played back on n86 screen its top notch ,,played back like gsm arenas sample is what i am getting fairly good,,played back on tele more speckly but the frame rate holds up and colours are good,, its so hard to say..but i would say its one of the best video fones ive used especially in frame rate ..

I want to buy this phone and want to know about camera quality and sound of this phone.
I surveyed some shops and they scare me about the slider phones and also that not much users buy nokia n86.
so please tell me about the nokia n86 slider.Is it working fine and also hand on experience for this phone.
Is it worth buying this phone?
Should i go for this phone or Nokia N79?

i used to have n85 now have n86,,anyhow i think these themes could be causing probs,,it does say on installing theme that it could harm your fone or fone is not compatible etc...If these themes have been causing nokias trouble that renders zedge and all third party themes redundant,,,it could be the cause of all the n-series ive had cause always used third party themes

I want to buy ... moreWhy dont you get n79 and if you dont like it swap for n86 or vice-versa..Some are saying n79 camera not the best 5mp cam but thats about it..I had a few crashes at beggining with n86 but that was faulty files and email went wrong somehow but after going thru nokias settings wizard email was fine but a bit different set up from other n-series....Thats my input really done battery/vid/cam/audio tests a few pages back and all very good,,just typical n-series but very good in my opinion that it..
