basically, this phone's camera is not bad...music is average...slider no problem...keys are ok...is it?

hyde, 01 Oct 2009how about it's battery life after upgrade it...is it better...???? the battery is fine for me 2 full days are quite enough for a high end fone ! just switch off the email 24hours delivery as it opens the 3G network all days and thats what ruins the battery

but if u get little hard on it it sure gonna scratch !
they mean only the front glass not all the fone

will the earpiece of n86 hot? cause when i have a phone call with my 6120c, the earpiece will be hot...n86 got this problem?

stvn7, 27 Sep 2009has anyone of you tried using the animation menu plus?For installing this application u need to hack ur fone nd that is pretty much on ur own risk. Presently none of the hack is working for a FP2 device like n86. If its so tell me as well.

first of all no led can be compared with xenon light thats a fact
it's all about the way the lens process the incoming light
N86 ==> Got variable apperature means in low light the lens opens wide to recive maximum amount of light so the pic comes out bright and vice versa
N82 ==> fully depends only on its flash its fixed apperature so whatever the surroundings lightings the n82 depend only on his powerfull xenon light
Conclusion :
the n86 calculate and perform better in low light with his leds !! as the lens opens wide to recive every minimal piece of light here and there so the pics turn out stunning
the n82 gives out better pics only ONLY within the lenght of the affecting xenon lets say 2 meters or 3
far than that comes out variable apperature rule as the 86 process well with its LEDS
overall performance the N86 is far better than the N82 specially with its recent firmware v20
Video :
both devices with the N95-8GB capture VGA @30 fps
but somehow the N86 scores better and better
the Lens capture more light the video turns out more bright with vivid light in low light the video is bright and beautifull comparable with n95-8gb ot n82
Another thing i noticed when Zooming the pic quality doesn't detatorize or in other words stay clear and crisp in other devices when zooming the pic is washed out and becomes crappy !!
LED ---> here comes the rule of led ! u can turn it on to capture videos .. yes its bright too bright that it lightens a full room !!
Guys dont expect a Digi-Cam with this N86
But expect the Highest 8 megapixel camera phone quality ever made !

Guys got my N86 updated with v20 and let me tell u the phone has bcome quite speedy.
The image and video quality has been improved with the face detection.
I am truly enjoying the phone
P.S-The icon for the music has been replaced by a folder dont know y?
By the way a really, really fantastic update.

guys i just updated my n86 firmware to v20.115 just by using my n86. Just go to Software Update and you can update the firmware there. It does has face detection. But one thing i noticed is that when the theme effects and sensor is on, when turn the phone to portrait to landscape or vice versa it takes lnng to change, and the effects is not there. But all in all the update is great.

By the way the screen is more than perfect the camera superpass the innov8 the wide lens are really great accurate colors very very powerfull double LED really makes a different its 90% power of xenon (i own both n82 and n86) infact i like using led than xenon as we use it as light in video
dont even compare W995 oe w1003o9ruw38 with N86
the AMOLED screen kick ass of Normal TFTs screen in my old N95-8gb
by the way i own the white version better than the black one

yes the LED are very very powerfull and are used as continoeus light in video
infact it lights up entire room quiet well !!

N82 xenon fotos only are better other than that n86 pass it by milessssss

SKH, 30 Sep 2009if compare the camera with w995, which wan will be better ?Quite honestly, the N86 has a better camera than the W995. The colour is more vibrant and closer to reality, maybe it's because the N86 has better lens and an amoled screen.
However, I chose the W995 over the N86 because it is a better phone overall for me.
