[deleted post]yes buddy. . U should upgrade. It also fix the bugs of v2.1. . . .camera is slightly improved.

you can download nokia sw updater connect your phone with pc then update your phone using sw updater it needs internet connection...

it's been a year and a half since I'm using my N86 8MP.. satisfied so far.. nice camera shots.. video capture..(talking about Wide Angle Lens) okay with the upgraded dual Lens, ti's not Xenon, though.. and superb OS performance..with more flexibility when it comes to Symbian OS v9.3, S60 rel. 3.2 applications (i.e Gravity™ (for Facebook wall status updates and notifications, eBuddy™(YM and Facebook chats, iSMS™(Threaded View SMS/Text messaging /Nokia Conversations™, Nokia™ Situations (Profiles), Mail For Exchange™ for email and many more.

i m user of nokia n86.my firmware is 11.043,when i check the latest firmware by nokia site and by mobile ota,it say no new firmware is available.now nokia release latest firmware 30.009,so pls guide and help me how i upgrade new firmware.ps reply thx

i have a n86 and it is far better than the sony ericcson w995 the n86 is the best phone i ever had in my life i am looking to get the n8 just now only thing the 86 has that the n8 dont have is video light

N8 vs N86.
N8 has more natural colours.
N86 has more sharper image.

If you have n86, u won't need a stand-alone digital camera (for common people like me). During night also it provides very good quality. The images produced by N86 are even sharper than N8. Google it.

A tip to nokia n86 users. During night photos, u should use the flash setting '' Reduce Red ''. It provides clear images. As with the '' Automatic '' flash setting, the night photos gets blurry when not captured well. But using '' reduce red '' provides clear images at night. And also set the colour mode to '' vivid '' at night. Its gives best results.
