cause it is the same as any digital camera out there
way better then other mobile cameras!

Motorola ZN50 as just been shown on gsmarena an it looks just right for a mobile,Super Large Screen with a sliding keypad,Why as nobody realised at Nokia,its thats what people want nowdays for viewing images an videos on your mobile phone,Why couldn"t have Nokia released the N86 like the ZN50,we wanted something new from Nokia but they did the cheap option use a older mobile but just improved its Functions an let it fanatics down

i sell mobiles and i cant wait for this one to come out in the uk, as i am a resident of the uk, i want to start selling these phones a.s.a.p be cause i know they will make me and my customers very happy. i love nokia, they are the best go nokia. love c a robertson xxxx

I have been using this phone for the last 3 days.
I owned an N73 music edition before this one.
Looking at the reviews i was quite in doubt if i should buy the nokia n86 8mp or the nokia n95 8gb because both had been on my mind....
I had finally settle for nokia n86 because nokia n95 didn’t have a memory slot…its biggest drawback… I ws bit nervous if the phone will turn out to be good..
But nw that I own it, I have endless reasons to be happy bout my decision. And since my doubts are cleared I wish to clear it for those who might be biased about this phone for reasons beyond comprehension..
presumably the sound quality and loudness in nokia n86 is not equal that of the n95 8gb though its definitely above average.
other than that it has all the features an n series phone has to offer including office applications and a wide range of personalisation features.
i loved the theme maker which came with this phone and the 17 N-gage trial version games out of which any one can be installed for free.
i also got a tough n beautiful black phone bag from nokia.its simply OSUM!
i didnot like the dedicated music keys on the phone because they don’t respond unless the music menu is active.the camera key was a bit hard to press initially though it has softened now.
The menu keys are a pretty small and I had been bit apprehensive bout those.
but when I began to use them they seemed as smooth as butter and great fun to operate once you get used to it.I must say it is an interesting bit of innovation from nokia.
And coming to the trademark of this phone, its picture quality is fantastic as obvious.
I loved its personalization options in photo and video shooting mode.
And what sets it apart is that this phone takes photos in very real and true colours.
I have seen even some digicams fail in that department in comparison to the n86.
This phone like all other nokia n series supports a large variety of video formats s well which is another reason to love this phone.
Then the phone has this cool search option with which one can search the entire phone memory for any file with just a word or even a syllable in the file name.
I just cant seem to get over how innovative nokia had gotten with this phone!
Its so sad that it seems so under-rated by the public reviews.
And lastly I have seen the phone to have received a lot of criticism for its appearance.
Its absolutely true that the photo of this phone provided in the display on screen by gsmarena makes it look kind of cheap and old fashioned.
But I don’t know what others dislike in its appearance if they have commented after they have handled the phone themselves.
It has a really large screen and it is scratch resistant. moreover it looks very stylish, sophisticated and OMG so totally classy in real life!
all in all its a real value for money.

Sony engineers see i... morey u r talkin abt exmor??thr is nothing abt exmor wit se camera phones not yet n not gonna b cz the satio wit exmor was a fake news,idon mean they dont hv exmor technology,they hv bt not now.okey just suppose nxt time they will come with exmor thn wht???meantime nokia already has introduced new technologies.wht se brings??only mega pixel nothin else.don comment here by fantasy...in satio they hv nothin abt innovation except megapixel upgrade.

While Sony and Samsung are perfecting their 12MP phones and developing high pixel count phones, Nokia is still struggling in the 8MP phone category. Because Nokia does not make their own camera sensor, they will have a hard time catching up the two leaders.

That is innovation by "like.no.other" Sony, by introducing something new that deviates from established practice.
Sadly, this is somewhat difficult to discern by some who are unschooled in the art of engineering.

mp is just a scam i have seen 5mp shoot clearer photos than 8mp but for the record nokia is finnished unless they start making good quality phones again.. this one really sucks culo

Nokia did a big mistake using the N85 body on the N86,as those who bought the N85 found out only after a couple of weeks the Slide became very Wobbly,O.k it might be hard times nowdays for the Mobile phone produces,but Nokia should have designed a new type of mobile to Attract more buyers,or even a Touch Screen N86 with normal keypads,Nokias got to really catch up now with the others as its seems odd they used to be way ahead of them but now way behind them an not competeing in the Top Class mobile market but more concerened about leading the Mid-Range mobile market
