I know of 23 people who have this fone and more but online people i dont know them face to face,the main complaints are top speaker failure,stiff buttons,not strong battery and cant be too good in sunlight..I am using n86 with 40gb nearly onboard and its a bit slow to find stuff WOW so is a computer.I may have heard of a mechanism failure in cam but that was in early production fones..I have no probs touch wood but these are like comps..
I am sure here inuk mobiles are gauranteed for 2 years and nokia uk website states that the fone is garaunteed for 2 years,,what the hell goes on in some countrys is beyond me but its india people who have the most complaints ive ever seen in my life..
Now i dont know indian law but can you chaps not get together and find out because it does seem as if Nokia india could not give a toss which is unfair as if you buy Nokia you should get same treatment cause we all live on same planet..

My N86 front glass near to the front key is coming out,and due to this the keys are not working. Every time i have to press the glass then only the keys work.
I showed it to Nokia care they told me that the whole front slider has to be change... its costing me Rs.3500
Pls help me what to do now.

I have it since last December and I'm just wishing the contract is over so that I can get a new phone. This one is full of bugs. Like each time I slide it, either up or down, it opens the photos menu. Besides, the camera is not that fantastic. I had a Samsung H1 with a 5mpx camera and it took a lot better photos.

Don't buy that phone, had it for one year then suddenly the camera is not working good, the picture is blurred and not clear, it is like that for 2-3 weeks and one day it's fine, then again the same problem. tried to fix the problem but many workshops informed that this is a common problem and even after replacing the camera module, the problem returns back. I think it's a processor problem.

Hi!
Is it possible to have a keypad lock code? I would like to activate it so that when i want to enter my phone it requests it. Is there a time limit? I want the phone to be locked instantley when the keypad locks.

Too sad it is already phased out it the Philippines but second hand models are still sold at 15000-16000Php.

I have been using this phone for over a year and I can say that N86 is a great phone!
I love its camera! The resolution is very clear.
