i wont recommend this phone at all to anyone. I have sold it at dirt cheap price because is no longer avai in my country and most probably because it doesnt sell. I utterly regretted buying this phone because they seem to be lacking a whole range of feature a decent phone should have at such pricing. and there are often many problem occuring , especially wif each update. the onli thing gud about this phone is camera but i think buying a digital camera would be better off. and running at a dead system which is symbian is simply useless now a days.

the charging white light near the usb point blinks always during charging but sometimes its dosent blink dosent mean phone is not charging. The light is the only indication of charging in dark without see the display. Mines dosent blink sometimes but dont worry its not a problem.

I give preferen... moreIve had both and both are good fones anyway,,n86 has far better camera the w995 is a poor 8MP unit and n86 has better video recording with true 4x zoom in video mode by using more of the sensors pixels.As for music they are the same thru good earfones its hard to tell ..

pauline, 13 Sep 2010can i ask if you have to pay if you surf the internet or yo... moreif you have wifi at home just connect and it will be free,,but you still pay for your home broadband..if you connect using gprs or 3g it will cost.see your carrier for pricing..If you dont really know its best not to get this fone cause i dont think you will benefit from a smartfone to be honest with you..

Regan, 12 Sep 2010Hi friends, can any of u guys suggest me how to clear my ... moreWhen you connect your phone to ur laptop via mass storage.. in C:/ explore and delete the stuff 1 by 1.. make sure you dont delete some systm file and if you are not so sure about it btr go to some good mobile shop and see if they can help you with something.

It is supposed to light when the phone is charging. I noticed that mine does not work every time the phone is charging. It does sometimes and I dont know whats the problem, does any body have this problem too? I dont know if this is a good reason to send it back to the service

Pretty simple .. backup your C drive , then format it , restore the essentials
note : hope you haven't installed any application to you phone memory otherwise it will be useless :-)

But i will recommend u to take the backup of ur phone data then do a hard reset. It will definately increase ur phone memory nd ur phone will be fast if its ur main concern

its very good to see a phone which is 1 year old getting high ratings after its discontinued from india dunno abt other countries. I am using it since 1 year and trust me guys its the last nd the best non touchscreen keypad phone you can get bcoz every company is mostly concerned with touchscreen phones now. So guys its ur last chance to use a best keaypad phone. If anyone has any query about the phone, I'll be happy to solve it. Any confusion guys m here.

I have this phone for about 4 months.
I was very satisfied with it, but I have had camera problems. The camera simply would not turn it self on after I try to turn it on. Nokia service replaced it for free and now it seems to work just fine.
I have a comment on the little light next to the charger plugg. It is supposed to light every time the phone is plugged into the charger and is charging. I dont know why but that is not the case with my N 86. Sometimes it does turn on when the phone is charging and sometimes it does not did anyone experience the same problem?
