Nassari, 13 Mar 2010Dude , nokia n86 has a gr8 camera , no dought , BUT , n82 g... moreI was considering buying the n82 before this because in its day it was a good camera but now the n86 has come out and the colours and sharpness are way better (compare photos of the n82/n86 you will see wich one is better, you really dont know about camera do you? varible appreture is the key and a good sensor for a camera not the flash, you are not going to take photos in the pitch dark are you? you take photos in pubs and restaurants not pitch black....

I have some questions: 1- Can I use the flash ligh... moreyou can use the gps with no internet like a normall gps internet is just there to download maps, but you can download maps from the computer and onto your phone, and yes you can use the leds as a torch you just need to download the app, its called (bright light) and its free!

Hi... I have some questions:
1- Can I use the flash light like a light? Just like we can do on Sony Ericsson phones?
2- Can I install another GPS program on it? I want to use the GPS without internet, just like a normal GPS...

Which is much better... moreI think it's better that you don't choose n86.
Cause there are not too much difference between these phones but in camera.Specialy both pbones are s60v3.
And it will make you tires of that.
If you want too have a new experience be on other choices.
but I think if you want to make a real good choice Go for samsung I8910 with 600mhz cpu or many higher phones . . . !

Comparing n82 and n86?!
N86 have upperhand in every features and I'm sure you never have compared pictures between these phones.
N86 have one the best or we can say The best Quality camera between nokia cameras till now.
For sure you have n82 but that's not true to give wrong information to other peoples.

n86 owners please tell ur experience with battery ie battery backup.
i get about 6.5 hrs of music playback time with full battery and 2 hrs of video recording (tv high quality) time with full battery. Is this ok? Do you all have same type of backup?
What does your ion battery timer application display in average life?

Also , at low light and dark conditions , the n82 got the upper hand , maybe slightly , over the n86 . Another thing , the n86 is damn heavy , heavier than both a digicam and a phone , when u slide it up , it feels its gonna slip from your hand and fall down , bloody 149 g , what the hell !! . But I gotta admit , its the natural evolution for the n82 , and thats why I bought it , overall , its a nice piece of work and so sexy in indego , white suckssss . Bro , maybe Im not Mr. Olympus , but I know enough about cameras . Have a nice day .

Ideally it should be a great ph but I have had constant problems with n 86. The only thing that works properly is the camera! Turns off whenever it feels like, go to txt and it takes you to contacts or whatever it feels like. Put in a meeting in organiser and if your ph is off, it will not alert you when you turn it on.It is very slow and annoying. The list goes on and on and i know i am not the only one with problems. Nokia tried to put everything in this, maybe they would have put the kitchen sink if they could!
