They need to be motivated. We can do this by properly purchasing apps and give a healthy feedback to the free apps. I hope soon we will be getting these apps on our beloved N9

i think that they should have apps like viber and stuff cause i call my family in other countries but with my nokia n9 it can't. THEY should work on their apps more :)

Lumia or any WP, definitely NO for me. There is no any phone that can capture my attention at this moments, except N9. Been owning it for nearly 4 months, it is just awesome. The only cons is that no much selection for the apps. Anyway, just love my N9.

MeeGo does not requir any high hardware. It is a hardware friendly OS. You can see that its running on 1GHz cortex A8 processor which came to market in mid of 2010. But MeeGo on N9 running perfectly. No lags at all. Literally it has beaten the dual cores and quad cores.
Moreover I was reading today on everythingn9 that overclocking app is ready and it will be officially available soon...

atom with a true hd 4.3 cbd screen equiped with 1gb ram and the pureview cam would swipe "ehem" i mean sweep them all away. it would lierally steal the spotlight from ios and android.....
wake up nokia. meego is your salvation
salvation sounds good maybe they could use that on meego 2.0....
meego runing on that two mid range phone would surely take the stage from windokia phone.
im gettng so furious thinking that all f/w re having their major updates and meego asof now has none.... is windowpaying nokia to hold back meego.? or nokia is just blind?
they sure are afraid of meego guys. thats for a fact. other phones can only brag their high spec hardwares but on user exp. they cant matc the simplicity of a swipe

1st Nokia has said that they will not produce any device running MeeGo. So, how can it be possible that they are not making a device running MeeGo but triple boot.
2nd for making an android device Nokia has to make a contract with Google. And Nokia will not make just one device running android. This will be a total loss.
3rd how Microsoft can allow the Nokia to make a contract with Google. It will vanished wp.
4th in the presence of MeeGo and android who will be on earth will go for wp.
5th. I dont think any company is gonna officially announce any device which can even dual boot. They cant get that much profit from it and they have to work really hard for it

Ch.Saqib, 24 Apr 2012No doubt Nokia is a good company and we have been enjoying ... moreu are right!! The wp OS is way toooo boring, its just the regular square tiles with a boring colour( which we can change according to our mood!! ;-p) and even the apps on x box live is quite expensive ( 365 INR) Much more expensive than the HD games on the ovi store!! Even the camera interface is hyuckish but few things such as the zune application is a good aliter to ovi music. The application lets us download music from any artist throughout the world without any cost till the device lasts!! But in ovi music u can only download free of cost only for a year!! Plus this ovi music is an advantage over all the other companies as they dont allow any music downloads!! Nokia roxx but nokia shud develop meego and symbian together and wp should be sidelined !! Elop sir do u read our comments!! ;-p

But killing Symbian and MeeGo and adopting Wp is not a good decision. People are not liking wp. Most of Symbian users are switched to Android. For MeeGo many users are not adopting it because of its uncertain future.
Personally I want wp failed. Because if it is a hit we will go to stone age. All the other os will follow it and will downgrade their os with a lot limitation. We really need open os like MeeGo.

1. I... moreGoogle Playstore is not fully functional on N9. Nitroid available now is in Alpha2 stage. Its not completed yet. And I have mentioned that if you want to just play some games or use some apps just for the time being then Nitroid is ok. But if you want to use it a main OS then its not good. It will always be lacking with some features, updates etc.
Overclocking is good if it will not kill the battery and it really boost the device. Still the work is jn progress. In my opinion N9 does not have any issue of speed with 1GHz. Thats why I am not thinking of overclocking.

and about the meego, there is a rumor there will be two phone again with meego os, but i think it will be on the middle range,
actually we don't need a new brother, we need brother who can develop many applications and game for n9 and other maemo or meego devices
