First, turn off atomatic loging to any wifi hot spot in range - you can log when you need. there are apps to save battery, install. And update to PR1.2. Look in net for more advices. You also can find battery saving soft at my-meego.com.

theN9user, 17 Apr 2012PLS HELP,battery issue!!! I've been using the N9 for a few ... moreThis might not be an issue,it depends on the settings you have on your phone, how many services (mail sync, facebook, etc) you use in the background. You can check the feed settings section. An BTW that value is an ESTIMATED value!! The actual value depends on the phone usage, of course!

PLS HELP,battery issue!!! I've been using the N9 for a few weeks now, everything is perfect except for the battery. When I fully charged it(100%), the battery info shows that it only has around 4 hours and 30 minutes of talk time, but it says here at GSMarena that it has at least 6-7 hours of talk time.Is there anything to be done to improve the battery life?

              --
              E71-1 RM-346 = GSM 850/900/1800/1900; WCDMA 900/2100
              E71-2 RM-357 = GSM 850/900/1800/1900; WCDMA 850/1900
              E71-3 RM-407 = GSM 850/900/1800/1900; WCDMA 850/2100

              To make that clear,

E71-1 is for Europe/Asia (not China)
E71-2 is for AT&T in the USA, and in Canada
E71-3 is for one of the Australian carriers.

seeing the built quality of dis thing i think that the battery will last for many years with average use nd about ur query regarding replacable battery let me telk u one thing. The fones battery can be replaced provided u go to an authorized nokia service center. They will remove your screen portion ( from the guerilla glass) and they wil separate it from tje chassis (i.e the back portion of the fone, the polycarbonate material) we cant do this at home because it requires special tools !! :-) if u r wondering how i knw the battery replacement procedure, just youtube it and type making of n9!! :-)

my experience wid n9 is excellent. Atleast its better than my ifone 4, sgs2, torch 9810 nd finally n8!! ;-p out of all the fones i used ( nd gave away) this one is the best! The battery is 1450 mAh Li-ion (which is mentioned in the specs) and is long lasting. Even with 20 apps runing live, it does not get heated up lik the sgs2 and the amoled display is crisp and clear !! :-) much better than the amoled displays of the galaxy smartfones!! Nd hey u r gettin a good offer but i ssly think dat u shud buy it from the original carrier 'nokia' and not amazon because u'l get a range of offers , for e.g. I got a nokia play360 speaker free wid the purchase of dis fone!!
