In about 15min i'm baying one N9 16gb version, sens they don't have the 64gb version, and i'm giving to them my old N97mini on exchange for comensation and 280€.
I had two N97mini, so i em giving to them the old scratched one that i tested modified firmwares on it.
N9 is black and new...otherwise it worries me the 16gb space on it!!

It was unwise for nokia to have abandoned N9 and meego platform.

AnonD-32877, 12 Apr 2012Anyone knows when P.R1.2 will be available in South Africa?
Had my Vodacom branded N9 unbranded by Nokia service in Cape Town a few months ago. After that I could upgrade to 1.2 easily OTA. So I suggest you contact Nokia service to do the job for you.
              Good luck!!

                  Im on PR1.2

Nokia Drive and map works seamlessly in Singapore, but do remember to switch on GPS, WLAN, 3G options for faster satellite lock in

Camera capturing not as fast as iphone4s, but do just fine

sms sound feedback lags 1 sec after you sent

firefox is visibly lagging when it is used to load taxing pages, but it is a wonderful alternative to the in built browser, it displays web in a different format

battery performance kinda let down here. last 1 day if using 3G/WLAN intensively, last almost 3 days with minimum internet usage

                  cant send mp3 via bluetooth/NFC

document viewer is nice/useful for words, pdf

facebook interface is the worst feature for n9

The best best phone Nokia ever made. Love it, beautiful ui, easy to handle and learn, very intuitively. Best design in my opinion. Unfortunately Nokia want continue on the platform... But maybe they change their mind...

It is pointless to waste hardware-memory installing ICS on N9 if I can not use any of the apps on Google Play, because I want to do more than just look at the ICS user interface on my N9. The whole point of Android on N9... is all the apps and games in Google Play!
Adobe Flash on N9 still is not as good as on Android, and office editing is still not as good as on Android!
My old S2 can also dual-boot with new kernel from xda, maybe I can soon use MeeGo... on my dual-core... S2, unfortunatly Apple will not allow dual-boot iOS on my S2!

It is good to google for app you need as internal Nokia Store browser works not so good. You also can use Alien Dalvik which allow to use Android software as native software directly in Nokia N9 MeeGo. And last but not least, because Nokia N9 is able to do just miracles you can do this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55_Tm0QLYlY.
