Ma phone still hasn't gotten the notification for PR1.2 update. Does it mean that the update for ma product code hasn't been released or that ma phone is not eligible for the update?
I'm really pissed because of this. pls let someone help me out.

Excellent vid call abilities between other users that have Google accts.
Those accts can be on phones or computers etc.
Some users are not too bright, & are having issues working out how to use it.
Once you've updated to 1.2....
I'd recommend popping over to talk.maemo.org to learn how one installs & uses it etc.

You're best off double-checking at talk.maemo.org 1st though.

This phone is not all that, i had the phone for 5 months, had to factory reset it about 5 times, alot of software conflicts, maybe i got the bad apple but would not recommend this to anyone, touch screen did not work all the time, the simcard did not registered sometimes, the micro sim is a BIG NO!!!!!!

I srsly doubt you'll be missing anything WRT apps in maemo6x though.
Do your homework and you'll find everything you need.
The only category of apps that may be somewhat lacking is games.
If you're a heavy gamer it may not be good enough in that respect.

every one says thatn this phone doesnt hav stuff.........dus any phone other than the n950 n9 have meego os..no, so all the phones suck big tym!!!!!no meego!!!

nokia n9, 08 Apr 2012Nokia N9 is a beautiful smartphone, but why doesn't it have... morewell sir ur not alone on t disapointment.... all wners of n9 are..... wjos to blme? its elop.... think hes holding back full support of n9 and meego cause he fear it will outsell jis windokia phones..... and thats what were fighting for my friend.... then9 communty has been making noises and those at the top ar starting to hear us..... the fw update and third party apps delivered for n9 certainly shows that nokia cant take for granted its meego firmware now..... its far too valuable to be lost now... its got high potenial. a firmware that no symbian has ever gone so far.... windows i have nothing against you ur platform can match ios. its the closest to ios thats the truth but its restrictions are so annoying.... just like on ios....
i dont care and i dont mind what others tell about meego..... if its faited to die bcause of nokias top officials dcision then atleast i would be thankfull for having been able to have the opportunity to own a simple yet elegant platform....
and for those who are posng neg. feedbacks regarding n9.... hahaha for sure they havent tried it yet.... sure meego has bugs especially on its first release... but almost everythinghas been fixed on the last update...were not claiming n9 to be the best phone....
but with support and if meego proj. is continued.... fture handsets running meego myt have a chance tobe among the best....
nokia wake up... u can choose tokeep windows but dont turn ur back to symbian and meego.... they are your true idntity.....

Nokia N9 is a beautiful smartphone, but why doesn't it have the front camera? It is present in the phone but we can't operate or use it. It's just so .....lame....sorry for the term but....why put a front camera in Nokia N9 when you can't use it....LAME... T.T
I am so disappointed right now because I can't use the videocall feature of Skype.

Wow, N9 is really a nice smartphone. And with regards to the display you can further enhance the color by selecting "vivid" in the display settings. Colors are more vibrant. Im really not sure if this can equal the super amoled plus display of samsung galaxy S2. Anyways, N9 is a great phone.

If refered to VOIP, N9 does an awesom work. It needs no application but only username and password from Voip provider, voila...there you go with cheap calls. SIP setting is integrated, no app needed. That's a very big plus for N9 imo :).
