One question: I´m about 2 purchas... morechoose N9:
1. you want something new
2. if you're a facebook or twitter user, etc.
3. if you want videocalls (gtalk)
4. you surf the internet very often
5. if you need a flashlight app
6. superb screen quality & legibilty
7. if you need weather apps; to read documents; for multitasking
choose N8:
1. if you like to take pictures esp. at low light conditions
2. simple & fast interface (symbian belle)
3. better battery life
4. more homescreens & customization options
5. at a cheaper price
6. good at detecting wi-fi receptions
7. if you have several sim cards, or if you do sim swapping sometimes (N9 has microsim)

Hey Nokia-users!
One question: I´m about 2 purchase myself a new cell, but wich one should I go for, the N8 or the N9? I like them both! I´m a standard user of phones, not looking for anything special - just a great phone. Be objective guys :) Thanks!

Those who complain abt FM Radio, FM radio capability is already available. Just need to download FM Radio app from Ovi Store, use headphones as antenna.

My n9 does not support 720p playback,but its clearly written in the nokia site that n9 supports 720p video playback.Epic Failure

who care about os,i'm not.i like n9,so i bought n9.i also used iphone 4,galaxy s,bb 9900,htc touch 2 phone.but i ever doesn't think about os, any os i manage it,i don't care about it & i enjoyed used it.now i've only n9,here in india n9 still dosn;t launch,so having n9 become status,now i switch to 808.

for people who have questions about how to set up certain things go to www.my-meego.com and you can post your questions there.
you need to open a new gmail account. then once you do, in the gmail window on the bottom left there is a voice chat/video chat function. you also need to download the google talk ithink from: http://www.google.com/talk/
then you need to activate your google talk on your phone: go to accounts app and log in after setting up your gmail from pc.

-Radio can be used now (new app called FM radio N9)
-whatsapp is coming to N9 soon (through unofficial developers)
-you can send sms when recieving a call to inform the caller you are busy. there is a new app also to ignore calls/sms from the dialed list.
most needed stuff are already on the N9.
for me after using the N9 for 5 months, i can safely say the best feature for me is the feed screen where i get all the latest news and the facebook feeds. cant be beaten really. ofcourse the built in features are also great along with the available apps and free GPS almost world wide.

wish i had an option of rejecting/ignoring an incoming call wid a SMS in my n9, just like nokia symbian devices. Iam really missing this option. Can anybody help me wid this?
