AnonD-252, 31 Dec 2011If Maemo and MeeGo really was as "good" as you bl... moremeego was os developed by nokia on base of meamo,nokia now want to entirely concentrate on hardware,so they abandoned meego and outsourced symbian,but what they have developed for meego like swipe u.i will be introduced onto both symbian and windows.also now meego project is taken over by samsung now called tizen,also mnc like acer,asus,lg,htc,ntt docomo joined the project the first tizen based phone will come out by year end,im sure android wont stand a chance against it.

N9 is best smartphone. UI, build, design is superior to any other smart phone available...
Nokia N9 upgrade on camera equal or better than N8 and a 4.3" display... will make it way beyond reach...

Harmattan (MeeGo N9) i... moreIf Maemo and MeeGo really was as "good" as you blind Nokia fans think it is, then every manufacturer, Samsung HTC LG..., would use Maemo/MeeGo not Android, but even Nokia do not think MeeGo is good enough becasue they now use the very bad WP7 that is even worse than Symbian!
Google will continue develop Android to be even better than it alreay is today, and it already today have far better real multitasking than N9!

I have used a lot of android phones. and i have also used nokia n900 maemo. but the truth is android is always buggy from the beginning. first maemo and now meego has a very stylish and user friendly gui. and i bet android will never get out of FC (forced Closes).

xahid, 30 Dec 2011meego is such a powerful os ever....its more than 100 times... moreOf course it is better tha Android!! Harmattan (MeeGo N9) is real linux OS not a virtual machine like android! So it does not need very powerful hardware to run smooth! Android will not keep up with Harmattan with same specs! It simply CAN NOT! (not to mention that developers can build apps that can run both on MeeGO and Linux distributions for PCs)
