Apple only steals third party app developers ideas like from cydia and so forth. So don't bash apple. Apple is the reason why smart phones are so awsome now. And if I'm correct the iPhone was the worlds first true touch screen smart phone. P.S. iPhone is still the best smart phone available to date.

MeeGo OS is far better than WP7.
Microsoft should acquire & develop "MeeGo" for Nokia mobiles.

i think the UAE PR 1.1 will be released by 10th of December so very close from now. looking forward to the improvements.
the phone is astonishing. the swipe feature on it is the best barnone and it is smooth unlike the Android based phones where they look choppy. i thought my blackberry playbook was great but the Nokia N9 touch screen and swipe technology blows it away. I just hope they have patented it so those thieves from Apple dont steal it and make it look like they have come up with a new technology.
I also happen not to care much about the continuation of this OS as what i have is good enough for now and because it is QT based, i read that it will be easy for developers who are developing for Android and blackberry (both will have QT based software) to repackage and make one app for the 3 platforms which is great. so expect to see loads of apps in the near future being released simultaneously for Android/blackberry/Meego (symbian also).

Great phone! Much more usable than Symbian and faster. Also Swipe technology is incredible.

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2011does whatsapp application work in this ohone? No Whatsapp and Viber does not work on N9 but I heard that Whatsapp it going to release N9 version mid January 2012.

I am a grate fan of nokia smartphones hardware side if you will think nothing better than nokia.but all the world is following android os but nokia still waiting for what ?just go and update the os to android and get nokia regular customer to get chance enjoy with nokia and alsooo together android!!!! do it fast

N9 is the THE most beautiful phone i've seen and Mee... moreya... if ubuntu or any linux can compete wid windows7 in desktop(i think ubuntu is far better dan win7 but lack in high level games),why meego the complete linux phone cannot(the partial linux phones os android easily beat win7)?
Meego is far better dan win7....so nokia go wid meego make an new series of letter "M"(chane the ceo of nokia first den do...)

k - i u seriously got no clue about phones at all, n9 has like 4x the ram of the n8 and a faster cpu, most experienced phone users will knw that ram is needed for multitasking and thumbnails, n9 isnt a camera phone like the n9 its a stylish phone with specs that are sufficient to its os
So please make yourself look stupid
