just got the 64gb in black in lebanon - great phone! (but indeed update is still unavailable over here)
any clue on the total sales of the n9 yet? this should become a million seller if nokia maintains production

Read a couple of "how to's " and flashed it yesterday. All is stable and the process took maybe 5min, with an hour of research etc. Just my 2 cents...

If N9 uses micro sim card, then how will we use the traditional sim card in the N9? Is it designed for both sim cards.

hi,
i like to buy a nokia n9, but i am a little concerned about the real screen size (the diagonal size sometime is not instructive).
can anyone who owns a nokia n9 tell me what are the cartesian coordinates of its active screen, i.e.:
- how inches large it is, and
- how inches long.

Wat the Hell !!! PR 1.2 gonna be released??? I still dint get PR 1.1 update on my phone... its still not available in UAE...this is so frustrating. Everyday I check nokia uae website and it says no update, no update no update...blah blah blah...
anyone experiencing similar problem?

In standby mode it will easily last 5+days...
Normal use last 2+ days..
and heavy use should last more than 1 day

Guyz who are already used Nokia N9 please share N9's battery life..charging time, after full charge standby time, Talk time and also give idea how much battery is used when u browsing and using applications...in nokia n900 when i used application or browse better falling down very quicky..i want to know about N9 battery

[deleted post]its not about finger size, its about accuracy. you can have the biggest fingers in the world and still type comfortably on ip4. If your thumb covers 9 letters on the keyboard at the same time its up to the keyboard software to determine where you intended to press, and that is the key in the center of the area the touch was registered.
and then its up to the user to spend 3-4 minuts to find out how he can minimize mis-pressing keys.
small fingers is not an advantage for typing onscreeen ON A GOOD FONE, only thing is that small fingers tend to not cover the view to the keyboard as much as big fingers but it takes only a few days to know where all the keys are located on the keyboard and then you dont need to see them so well anyway.
When i had Nokia 5800 i thought my problems with typing was the small display (3.2 inch), but rather it was the resistive technology and the poor software the keyboard used that was the real problem. On a resistive touchphone with small display small finges may be an advantage.
