i am a nokia fan i have the e6 but come on u canot compare the n9 with the iphone 4s the 4s is the best phone today in the world has better graphics better camera faster internet browsing and much much much better os meego come on are we in 90's

Samsung fans won't understand that innovation comes at a price.there are two kinds of innovation:
1)incremental innovation-keep increasing the specs as technology advances.this. its easy.
2)breakthrough innovation-this involves a new way of doing things.this its much more difficult.iPhone was one such product and look at the premium it still commands. Nokia n9 is another. such product. beautiful design and a new way of doing things!now Samsung keeps increasing the specs so it can overcharge without any breakthrough innovation selling specs as innovation. can't even design a phone on their own. now innovation command respect and that's why Samsung will never command any respect.look at the legacy that Steve Jobs created and then think what kind of legacy any of the Samsung CEO can ever hope to create. so Samsung fans can hold their toys and. soon enough even those will be outdated but we can get our hands on something that just brings a smile to our faces in one simple swipe.

just got my N9.
I also own a galaxy s 2.
the n9 is sexy...built quality and display is excellent.
under direct sunlight its superior than sgs2 due to its polarized screen.
browser...looks like safari a bit..slow but acceptable..in comparison to sgs2 of course.
apps in ovi store...very few indeed...but u do have an exellent on board apps.
swype??? there is no swype text input...gsmarena is wrong in this..however the native keyboard is indeed better than my stock nexus one..and haptic feedback feels good.
sound output is decent...comparable to the nokia E72.
regarding the memory..only 16gb was on contract...it has about 6GB allocated for the phone..out of which nearly 5GB is for apps install...the actual user memory to store files is just 8 gb...so my advice pls take 64GB.
User experience...something very fresh..i get bored with android...but the only plus point of android is the apps...if its true that we could port android to meego..then this is the deal.
hope this shed some light for those who r planning to get one.

I heard from the guys on YouTube everywhere that there won't be many applications and games on the Nokia N9 as MeeGo is just on its way up...
Is that true ? :/ or just a rumor ? :/

In Android world, it's about best specs and stuff. But you are paying so much, how much do you really make use of the hardware that you are paying for? I tried a NOKIA N9 today and i was wowed by it. It's not the specs, but the UI. The UI is amazing. I believe many ppl are buying N9 because of the UI, the effort employees put in to make such a smart UI. If you are buying phone for specs, then i think you have wasted your money. It's more impt to invest your money on an UI that suits you. Wake up dude.

Remember, it is the S2 owners who came here 1st to brag about samsung & bash nokia,long before n9 is released.
I like N9 for NOT being the big 4.3",for NOT being the same boring design, for NOT being the same cheap plastic.

You must accept the facts, N9 is MUCH slower and LOWER phone than SGS2 or some NEW models from other brands.
Why?
Because, NEW world apps, games etc, NEED FASTER PROC-s and GPU-s...
Android UI or some lags from UI is NOT enough for speed compare!
Try CUSTOM rom to SGS2, NO LAGS!
Some bugs from UI is just BUGS, not really "lag"
I have iPad 2, UI NO have lag... but.. MANY games have lag and apps, also BROWSING is nightmare for some sites... because PROC is 900 mhz dual core, and GPU is inferior, and memory is small VS SGS2

NOKIA doesnt need to have a DUAL CORE, a single core will do to run apps smoothly, seriously, i've tried to use sgs2 i find it so laggy and so cocky, it cannot be compared to am iphone 4. iphone 4 only got single core and it run so smoooooth. im now waiting for the n9 it will blow you away!!

They comment all the time in Nokia threads that S2 is the best, you want to complain some more, lol. If you've looked at the actual phone/display set & decided it doesnt suit you, then just move on to another model.

What is most popular, most sales does not mean it's suits - have done so & regretted. Btw, I dont go hover in the threads of the brands I'm not interested, including S2 & Iphone

I am waiting the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE and this N9 to come to the market. If the prices are close, I prefer the Galaxy HD LTE.

Third reason is I travel a lot so you could make phone calls with them any where in the world. I could name one product wich is allmost useless as a phone. N9 is wonderfull piece and to my opinion it has everything what I need. That's it.
