In the market nearly 50 to 70 % brands uses Android os, so android getting boared now there is not new in android. But nokia has independ os, they always bring something new.

one of the most beautiful and unique phones that has come out lately. not too sure i d jump on an OS that nokia is going to be decommissioning though.

GPRS/EDGE class 33 is greatest + point, Meego phone N9 is the most ideal phone I have ever come across.....

Anonymous, 16 Sep 2011NO Adobe Flash 10.1 hell noN9 has HTML5 built in and You can get Fennec (Firefox mobile) to N9 and it has Flash support. So that way N9 can show Flash just fine.

I am not able to understand one thing, why Nokia is so skeptical about launching this phone worldwide ...that too with some boom and bang.Or they are too obsessed with it they don't want to sell it at all? They have launched it like a demo phone or a 'beta' edition.
First, they made something which has a potential to supersede android and such, then they become mute about it. sure Nokia must know mobile business a zillion times better than me, but this thing is beyond my understanding. Selling Windows mobile may be good for them, but still I would strongly suggest them to bring Harmattan devices as they are bringing Nokia 500/600/700 whatever, and even with some bang.
Personally, I would say this could be the best mobile OS in the future.

Why doesn't Nokia intro a 1080p video recording phone? Probably every other manufacturer has it. Sony Ericsson is late to the party but Nokia not even interested?

It should come out with Dual-core processor. Now most of the smartphone are come with Dual-core processor. This new N9 just like a old batch smartphone and maybe after few month it will fall out.
