Don't get excited people,who are thinking to buy N9.The fact is,Nokia is to manufacture only 92000 units of this mobile,and would be available in limited countries(NO India,USA and China!

meego operating system is new and good one. It is created by the nokia , intel and some other team jointly. Intel creates meego to use on its intel atom processor in the note book. And many company including asus will made note book using this meego operating system. Besides meego also used in car information system and connected tv. Intel downcoad this operating system for using phone of nokia. So this is a powerful operating system like android :D
i hope nokia n9 will regain its fume.

The error in your reasoning is that in the desktop case, the OS was the same. Here, the OS's are different. Remember when Windows needed state of the art chips and Mac OS and Linux were much quicker on slower chipsets? Of course we like the progress of technology, but I would rather have quick performance on a lower chip than stuttery messes on dual or quad core Android devices.
This is so similar. N9 with Swipe UI looks so much smoother than my sisters Galaxy S 2. And it only has 1 core versus 2.
It is not just plain specs, it is how they are used. Android will always be at an disadvantage there because of the VM it uses versus real native code in MeeGo, iOS or WP7. All of the latter run smoother than even the newest Android. It is just poor technology.
So, yes to tech progress, no to stupid software :)

This is the same thing that happened when people thought we don't need quad-core CPUs for our PCs. Oh, and I only saw my friend's iPhone 4 lag once. I just hope Nokia balance the CPU/GPU load for the N9, creating a flawless transition. That, and a hopefully adequate pricing.

It Also has compache technology which compresses the memory of the apps running in the background in Ram. It may have 1gb of ram but the virtual ram could be around 1.4gb. N9 can achieve the performance of a dual core processor without the need to go dual core and deal with all the problems.

i hope that this device would assure great user experince that i likely hav with my samsung s2, tho it does not hav dual core processor.anyway thats another thing.. my concern is that this should not be like the sluggish n8, tho its camera stuff makes it the best camera phone out there, but thats all.. aside from capturing moments, peolpe are into web browsing and many application stuffs where they find it really satisfying... if this device is just like the latter, i must suggest for everyone to buy android driven devices, and pick the bests for you....for some who havent made a hand of it, open your hands and wallet.lol.. and go for it, lets see whose hands gonna let aandroid angels get away.

i heard from the malaysian blog that the price of 16 gb n9 and 64 gb n9 would be 600$ and 794$ respectevly

No one knows what the N9 will be like, sure it says it'll be great but they said that for the past smartphones they released which are now crap and running under apple. I say dont judge too quickly until it comes out and youve used it. Secondly i dont know why some people are stupid asking about pricing, if it hasnt been released then dont ask. Geeze some people are just sooooooo blind and never read!
