papario, 20 Jul 2011Why this such a beautiful phone does not support divx/xvid ?.....It's MeeGO OS from Nokia. It's still early in its stage. Look at Android devices for example, they don't support xvid/divx at first. No OS are perfect. Everything changes and improvements will be made.

But do you know why it needs dual SoC? It's because Android skins and Flash slows the phone down. Flash is still very buggy in phones. Most apps don't use Dual chips unless those hardcore games require it. It's mainly about OS/browser/app optimization with the chip. I think MeeGO will do alright in terms of speed. Flash is dying since HTML 5 is slowly taking over.

I dont think any great about this model when compared any other models now a days.... Nokia should try for something new in a better way.. :)

SGS II may have a Dual core but then it needs to because of it's complex android OS if it didn't it would lag. You don't need a flash if you download the youtube app for the phone.

this phone uses micro sim, just like the iPhone and iPad..
you can get micro sims for this phone either from a provider company that sells their sim card along with this phone (a bundled phone) or you can just cut your regular sim card with a knife to fit the micro size which requires an unlocked phone.

Probably a stupid question.....but does having upgraded from N82 to N8 (which my son then pleaded with me to give to him) I'm now looking at the N9......but the review mentions a 'micro sim'???? I only have the standard size - will it still fit??????
