The N8 is a great phone, and for me, severely underrated due to it's specs. Technology evolves fast, if you buy a new phone make sure it'll be a product that'll last.

If this phone is appropriately price, I won't have any doubts it'll sell well.
If it undergoes development from Intel, I hope it's music player is on par with Symbian's own, or perhaps an improved music player. Now that would be a welcome addition in my book.

Ugly design although slim, no rounded corners, looks like a brick and the main page it`s a copy of iPhone`s interface. It has no personality.

I'm not sure how much of a trojan Elop is, but an opportunity like this isn't going to be scoffed at from both Samsung and Microsoft.

Guys, guys, everybody knows that Samsung is preparing to take over Nokia. This is Nokia's fault. I am absolutely sure that they will take over soon. By the way the N9 could have a big success, but maybe it's not enough.

Alex, 11 Jul 2011What will be the flash player version.????
can it run 3D g... moreThe N9's GPU (SGX530) gives out the gaming prowess, it's slightly weaker than the iPhone 4 but it should be fine. Don't worry though, Qt games in the Ovi store are quite light.
If someone releases an overclocking utility, you could turn the N9 into a small gaming machine, though I doubt it's worth it. The standard speeds of the GPU would be regarded as the most stable.

Why radio is important and essential?
Because you listen to :
1) free music,
2) important announcements,
3) traffic,local & global news,
4) past time,
4) possible found long-lost friends/colleagues.
Radio plays such an important part in our life, and we can't simply live without it,and best of all,it's free, everyone wants it.

[deleted post]Mister Bond... Apple makes good phones, really gud.. gud specs and OS...i agree to that... you say Nokia is sinking.... let's say that's true as well... cz Nokia market share has never been this low...
Google's Android OS...well it's not really an OS either...it's a bunch of eye-candy rich features that hide the LINUX beneath it. Nyways it compliments the hardware of the phones decently...
Question - WHY DOES APPLE PAY PATENT MONEY TO NOKIA FOR EVERYONE iPhone it sells?
Also Apple and Andriod boasts about a virtually unending APP availability... Question - HOW MANY APPS WOULD YOU REALLY USE, MOST IMPORTANTLY "HOW MANY APPS DO YOU NEED?"
Less specs in NOKIA phones is noticeable, Question - HOW MANY CAN AFFORD A HIGH END PHONE? Let alone, what if the phone gets the job done? i mean what doubt do you have when N9 has been reported to run 100apps simultaneously?
Oh yea, we dont need to buy a bumper cover to avoid deathgrip, we dont need to jailbreak or special apps to transfer files over bluetooth, we can hook up our phones to any pc and transfer media/documents etc, no need of iTunes. It doesnt matter if we drop our NOKIAs cz they can withstand it. We can plug our USB drives or to our NOKIAs. Our Nokia's support MicroUSBs and have higher HSPDA speeds with amazing Carl Zeiss optics.
If you do not know to use a NOKIA or using it makes you feel irritated, well yes then pls move onto an iPhone or whatever you think that will make your life easier. NOKIA is for people who love to squeeze every essence out of their phones.
NOKIA USERS CONTROL NOKIA PHONES - RATHER THAN THE PHONE CONTROLLING YOU AS IT SEEMS THE CASE OF OTHER PHONE USERS SUCH AS Mr. BOND

[deleted post]Heres a tip, before this argument escalates into a flaming thread, I expect you to stop and just give your honest on the opinion on the N9, not the company behind it.
Seriously, everytime you post a comment, look up and it says there in CAPITAL: "POST YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE NOKIA N9".
Calling you blind would make me a hypocrite in a sense since some of my post are also always about the N9, but for you it's worth it.
Rub the dirt from your eyes and keep on track on what this page is all about.

[deleted post]You're amusing you know that?
So you think I'm brainwashed huh? Perhaps, however marketing bias is ever present in all of us. I can only recall my experience with Nokia as quite good since they stand up to much abuse. Mind you where I live is a harsh climate for a phone to be. I'm also not denying that low specs of Nokia phones, or what I assume you would interpret as "not fluid enough".
I would be one foolish consumer to think that only one company makes the better product than the rest. I've used many other phones such as the HTC Desire Z and the Wildfire, also the Samsung Galaxy S and also had ample opportunity to use my friend's iPhone 4. I can vouch that those phones are far superior than my C6.
Now I expect you to see me in a new light now, because I'm far from being to biased towards Nokia. The only reason I chose a C6 over any other phones is because I chose my needs over bragging rights.
And my needs, Bond, is just simple web surfing, e-mail intergration, text messaging and making calls. I also needed the QWERTY board since I use IM apps a lot.
So seriously, bond, you can troll all you want. All you get is an amused Nokia user.
Oh dear me, sorry; I shouldn't have called you a troll since you failed so much on the trolling part.
Just to make sure I hit the home run, you're one... uneducated consumer in the phone part. I bought my C6 for just $350 here sim-free. Convert that to US dollars and it's around $275. So all I did was use common sense and making smart choices in buying the things I needed, not bragging rights.
That said, I'm sorry you spent that amount of money for such a weak phone, maybe that experience and my opinion to you will make you a smarter choice from now on. Good luck and be an educated consumer from now on ok?
Cheers, Sun Down
