The best display in the market Better than retina or Super Amoled plus. It is like the c6-06 but with much higher pixels. Even in the prewiev in GSMarena it says that it doesnt fade at all in direct sunlight and it keeps the colours good. The CBD is awesome in this resolution.

                mahaseth, 24 Jun 2011friends there is no radio ........... to bad1GB RAM would be the main feature of N9. Please clarify if the phone memory will be occupied by homescreen widgets and sms conversations before buying it.
                I do face the same problem with my N8.
                But N8 is far better in the view of battery strength and 12MP camera.
                And i'm very much satisfied with its 24 hours online performance without needing a recharge.

                  [deleted post]android sucks. it lags. meego is pure linux. so meego wins. meego can run android apps. so meego wins. meego is made from Qt which is lighter than android javacrap VM. so meego wins.SG 2 has 32gb internal and external 32 gb. N9 has 64 GB. so it equals. meego has the best multi tasking abilities. android has the worst. so meego wins.micro sim is already your sim. you can cut it. so no bid deal. N9 has out dated cpu with gpu but it is faster than dual core 1.2 ghz cpu. so N9 wins. N9 has the best camera with carl zeis. i no doubt. so N9 wins. N9 comes with headset dolby surround technology, and it is the first phone to have it. so N9 wins. N9 has the best NFC utilized OS. so N9 wins. N9 can run other desktop (e.g.linux) applications like chrome browser , fire fox, so that means more developers support. and more creative applications like all video format supported applications soon will come. so N9 wins. N9 is more beautiful than sg2, and it comes with more color options. so N9 wins. N9 has HTML5 webkit 2 browser. s N9 wins. please Gsmarena. post this reply.

                    [deleted post]"SuperAmoled plus 4"3 is much better than simple amoled 3"9
                    SGS2 is Winner"

                    CDB AMOLED is comparable to Super AMOLED. and the super AMOLED screen is known for sucking up most of the SGS II battery life.

                    "SCORE
                    SGS2 ->10/10/10
                    N9->0"

                    10/10/10 vs 0? HAHAHAHAHA! Not an android fanboy my big fat a s s!

                    "Singlecore no match to powerfull dualcore
                    SGS2 is winner"

                    This is true up to a certain point only. Software utilization and OS efficiency also plays a major role in a device's performance. currently there arent much apps and games that FULLY utilizes the power of the dual core processors.

                    "N9-> 12.1mm
                    SGS2-> 8.5mm

                    SGS2 is winner, the thinnest Smartphone Worldwide."

                    Thin is not always better. due to its large surface area of the SGS II, some people might have some difficulty holding the device with one hand. also, thinner phones means crappier camera optics.

                    "Normal Sim Size is better than common Microsim, Mostly Microsim can offer only for data plan. sgs2 is Winner"

                    Who says that mirco sim only offer data plan? in my country, you can have a prepaid/postpaid account with a micro sim card

                    "N9-> NO FM radio
                    SGS-> it has fm fm radio

                    Sad and true. no matter how 'cool' internet radios are, it still cant beat the old fm radio function

                    "cardslot very important in smartphone save for important files,photos.
                    SGS2 IS winner"

                    64GB aint enough? the iphone can manage it well, y not the n9?

                    "So Nokia N9 is another failed flagship of Nokia"

                    That's what they say bout the n8, but i dont see it blunder like the n97 did. we have to wait and see mate.

                      Usual automated hater comments here. A lot of people have too much time on their hands.

                      This phone sounds very promising. Some very clever innovations that aid convenience a great deal over other current phones e.g. NFC. GSMArena's hands-on gives a good insight into this. Also how great is it that it can run Android apps, without the OS being RAM intensive like Android!!!

                      It's funny how people go up in arms every time something about Nokia emerges on this site. Jeez all they do is release phones, don't cry!

                          Lets see, how much this MeeGo/Linux based os can inspire the customer in competition with android based phones. if it works realy good then it would again bring the lost value of NOKIA in the smart phone segment. cheers !!!!!!!

                                        Again a disaster from Nokia by bring this Model in the market of android.This makes no sense where you get the same features (other than the 12Mps)in an android phone which will cost you much cheaper than this(11-20K)where as this model may be starting from 29K.
