if they could squeeze the 12 MPx from the N8, then this phone would be an ultimate phone for about an year or so.

I heard Nokia is strongly considering MeeBo for the N9. I'd put a dollar on it!

Mobilemaster, 24 Dec 2010Guys, I read a few days ago, that Nokia could produce Windo... moreWow! You're right. It's true guys nokia might choose windows phone 7. I know it's very surprising for nokia to do that but i think it's for the best to nokia choose microsoft's windows phone7. At least it will compete with android os and ios for that matter. And of course right now they are failing in U.S market. This will solve the problem for them. Right now they should finalze the deal with microsoft and go on with it. Good luck nokia please realease meego os soon cheers........

Bilal, 25 Dec 2010Last time, i visited here, the specs were ,, about 1ghz pro... moreThe N9 will feature an ARM A9 Cortex Dual Core clocked at 1.2GHz (28nm manufacturing process so most probably a dual core) and capable of spitting 190 million polygons per second.
The other claims reported include a 4.2-inch AMOLED display, a 1600mAh battery, 1GB ROM, 768MB RAM, a 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Optic, GPS, Wi-Fi, HD video capture, 64GB storage, a slide out QWERTY keyboard with micro chiclet keys and Meego 1.2 OS.
The N9, which looks like a miniature MacBook Air, is set to be released in the first quarter of 2011, possibly at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.

Oh please not symbian, symbian needs to be rewrite and make an innovative UI that will wipe out its competitor especially Android,IOS and WP7... Let MeeGo power this device. Agree?

ganesh, 19 Dec 2010i wait for this phone from june 2010. But about this phone... moreBeen waiting too. Starting to think Nokia doesn't want another N97 experience and this phone won't come out until all of its competitors have released phoens with better specs. Promising me a flagship in early 2010 with 2011 specs is great, unless the phone ends up coming out in mid 2011...

0batman, 17 Dec 2010Nokia should just make it so that iphone apps can simply be... moreThere ain't much useful in the iPhone appstore where the majority of apps are just books, if comparing the amount apps for N900, just installing the MGutenberg app, you will have access to at least the same amount of "apps" and all of them for free.

I do enjoy that I can write my own apps, which I can run both on my phone and on a desktop (as using python, I can run those on which ever operating system), the same benefit will be there in the N9 too.

The N9 will be a phone for men, while iphone will keep on being something for people without their own brain.
