Hi every1,
It's good to know that Meego phone are not far from being released.
Why did Nokia choose Meego OS for it's next generation flagship phones?
Only answer I got -'What makes Meego OS different from other Smart phone OS is that Meego is actually having a full computer experience.You can be able to run your favourite full desktop programmes.In addition Meego OS is full linux and so can load & run other OS's like Adroid,Debian,Windows,iOS or even Symbian'. :P

Its a lie,nokia doesn't make phones with 1 ghz cpu.I had the "computer powered" n900 and sold it because it's 600 mhz cpu was so fast that I couldn't handle it.

camera 5MP??? No more?? With N8 or E7, we are 12MP/8MP.
Personaly, I think that N9 has >= 8MP!!!

First, the sensor module of 12mp will be huge... Look at the N8, it's pretty big and pretty thick.
Second, I'm sure Nokia wanta N9 to be as slim as possible
Third, If N9 has MeeGO 1.1 OS, then it is meant to be a tablet, social networking, and browsing phone instead of a camera phone.
If you want a camera phone, go for N8 or something.

can any one plz post the correct and currently updated Specification of this phone....since i had decided to buy the N8 but the Specification is awesome "particularly" mention the OS of this Phone..
Also does the upcoming Iphone5 is really having a heavy competition with the N9...

i am currently using nokia n97 and i can find the perfect upgrade xcept this.it only needs--
1.fm transmitter
2.8 or 12mp camera with xenon flash
3.super amoled capacitive touch screen
4.touch sensitive controls with touch pad
5.1 gb ram 1gb rom
now that would epic set.....1 bullet kills iphone , glalaxy s,htc google nexus,and nokia n8

this phone is going to be epic. from looks to the specs to the os. i dont know about you guys but everything's just perfect for me..
dont really care about the camera though. =)
