n9new, 15 Jan 2013i just got this phone but somethings bothered me, is it nor... moreNear-black screens having slightly darker and lighter patches is fairly common on AMOLED displays. Shouldn't really be that way, but a lot of them are. Lines against white may be dead pixels or dead subpixels - if it is that, that's definitely wrong, and you should be able to get a replacement device. White screens seeming yellow might or might not be a dodgy display - I can't say mine appears like that to me, but I've heard people complain about it before.
All of the above? I'd try and get the phone replaced.

i just got this phone but somethings bothered me, is it normal that there is something darkspot on the screen i notice it while watching movies especially on the dark scene? and when i open my messaging there is some lines along on the white screen when i open the keyboard. is this normal or i have a defect phone? the white screen seems like yellowish and not real white at all

arjuna, 13 Jan 2013hey guys wich one is the best, n8 or n9. I want to buy n9.... moreI can't really say the N9 is unequivocally better. The camera on the N8 is obviously better in most situations, and I'm pretty sure Symbian's range of apps is wider than that of MeeGo.
However... you get a bit more screen space (on a screen which is very good provided you don't mind a PenTile display), more RAM (noticable when multitasking), and there's less UI lag. I don't think I'm the only one who would rather use MeeGo than Symbian for pretty much everything, either - it's a great OS. If that's worth the extra cash over the N8 for you, go for it.
