I bought this phone almost an year ago. I bought it unlocked, so I paid the maximum price.
But I don't regret. It's amazing, and the Nokia Maps saved my life in foreign cities like Istanbul or Paris.
Pluses:
- Meegoo is much better than Windows or Android. It is most economical OS I ever used: the battery lasts about 7-8 days for normal phone use (in GSM mode, with no internet).
- I installed the following apps: a flashlight mode, a voice recorder, and a call recorder (for legal purposes). They were free, they work perfectly, and I personally don't need anything else.
- the Carl Zeiss lenses are simply great, the pics and videos are crystal clear. Excellent camera!
- Elegant design! The phone looks amazing,and all my partners are admiring it. It's a nice touch during the negotiations.
The only minus:
- at first, the phone was asking me again and again, if I want to open the internet connection (no, idiot, I DON'T. I need battery, not internet connection!) But the problem was solved after upgrading to Meegoo 1.3.
Tip:
If you want more battery life, keep the phone with the face down, on the table. Protect the screen from the sunlight.
Conclusion:
In my opinion, the Nokia N9 is superior to any other phone I used (iPhone, Sony Xperia, HTC, Samsung). It's a shame Nokia abandoned their own product, and adopted the inferior Microsoft Windows. But every empire must come to an end, I suppose, and we all pay for our mistakes.

Nokia n9 is a disappointment in the world of millenium phones. The specifications listed were not installed at all. Its like defrauding your consumers. No 3G video call, no yahoo messenger and whatsapp ready app. How do they want this phone to be enjoyed. Whacked men

No need for screen protector... gorilla glass is hard to scratch... keep N9 in naked pocket-- no problems.

Still, considering you as new user (or a kid), select any photo u want to upload, go to share button (third from bottom left) and u will find many sharing options. If you have activated facebook account on your n9 then it should reflect there too.
Now regarding whatsapp, just follow saqibs link provided below and install the same. You need PR1.2 or above version for that i guess. if u dont have it, just update it. Done..

Whatsapp is a third party app. You cant blame a device if it does not have a third party support. As for N9 there is an unofficial client of Whatsapp which is named as Wazapp. You can download it from talk.maemo.org
