The unofficial client of the whatsapp is developed by the Maemo community and named as Wazapp. You can find it at talk.maemo.org or use the link given by Ruplee in earlier posts.

I think you people must type the spelling of "whatsapp" correctly instead of "wazzap" on the Nokia store's search bar! Then you may get this app.
