if you are "TECHY" buy N900, if you are FUNCY(Camera and video) buy N8. I feel the browsing N900 much better.
N900: camera such,display 480x800, GPS such, application good.
N8: camera the best compare with other mobilephone in the world at this time, display 360x640(not so smooth less dpi),GPS exellence, application good.

Cheaper in SE A... morethanks for ur info.one point design that i like in this phone is there is a " designed in finland & 32g" writen at the back slider screen.thats make me confident to hold when i slide the phone,hahaha...cos i put silicon case to my phone so cannot see nokia n900 logo on the front.hehe.
btw if i saw electronic price in AMS last year,mostly electronic (lcd,Hometheater,HP,etc price there is lot cheaper than in malay, sing, indonesia ) . Now just wait if PR 1.4, is it true that nokia will launch in the middle of April or it just a rumor !?!

Cheaper in SE Asia coz of local warranty, Finland and its Scandinavian Neighbors (Norway, Sweden) are on top when it comes to consumer rights legislation, ie rights that extends beyond the manufacturers responsibility. Also higher VAT, and ofcors since these are high cost countires the distributor and retailer need higher profit per sold unit. Plus you get a different keyboard when you buy in Finland.

I want download some webOS apps for nokia N900, c... morefirst download from app manager webos games.there are 25 games there.and all games that you see there download from google in ipk files.this is the easy way to install games in n900.you dont need to use exterenal.and for me before was very difficult because i love games .but now im happy.games are like if you play in computer.

And the camera, awesome! es... moreI tried downloading blessn900 app (for camera) but it keeps showing conflict packages..one of the conflicts is MAEMO 5...how am i to rectify this problem?? shud i delete this maemo and upgrade it or sumhting???if so..how???most of my applications are being conflicted by MAEMO 5....pls pls pls pls pls helpp....!!! :(

Nokia N900 is not a great phone for those who are not engineer in IT section....Because it's too hard to use & the applications of this phone are not so amazing as everyone wants it or other nokia symbian phone has..!!! I think E7 is much much better than Nokia N900..!! And another thing, Nokia N900 is very slow you have to overclock the device if u wanna use any third party software but it's too dangerous..!!!

AnonD-5078, 01 Apr 2011hi i am using a Nokia N900.i want to download u tube videos... morecute tube is a great app. i have been able to download many videos from youtube. when you search for the video and fine it, you click on download. then you need to press the back button, then press on the top panel of the app, then you should see an option to view your downloads. click on the downloads button then it should be pretty straight forward from there... hope that helps

i wait for PR 1.4 ( this alre... moreI am very happy with my n900, have had it for about 6 months now. What i want for the next update:
1. Still waiting for full portrait mode, including portrait qwerty (and t9 if they can) keyboard
2. Would like the email client to be a bit faster. Also, would like to be able to mark as read several messages at once rather than having to mark one by one.
3. More apps of course.
4. Would like to take pictures and videos with the front facing camera. I think so far it only works with video calling (haven't had the need for it myself)..surely nokia can let us use it to take pics also?
5. Official mms integration - fmms plays up sometimes for me. Don't mind so much coz I don't use mms too often, but these days this should be a given.
Still think the phone is missing some key (and very basic features), but surprisingly it doesn't really bring the phone too far down for me... It's fast, great at multitasking and highly customizable with a great browser.
