I don't know how to do that. I am not that hardcore technical.
But 125MHz is like under-clocking CPU way too low. The device no more will be snappier. This is my understanding.

-Disable Wifi
-Turn on Power Save settings in N900
-charge by switching it off
-voltage fluctuations are issue-eg in India and in US- battery lasts longer in US because of stable voltage
- if phone is new, need to wait for certain charging cycles
-lock screen when not in use
-turn off touch-vibration
-if on 3G will consume more battery than on 2G or 2.5G
-if excessive usage, adjust screen brightness to 3
-make sure no applications are running in background when not in use
Hope this helps. It will make it last for 1.5-2 Days of usage. Even I had complaints earlier, but now its been over 6 months and I have learned about these settings and have worked for me.

LENANDES, 21 Sep 2010can this N900 support free navigation like the symbian supp... moreyou can update ovi maps through ovi suite (from nokia website). you can also download map data from ovi suite. but the ovi maps on the n900 isn't as good as on symbian smartphones. the biggest missing feature is no voice navigation. it does let you search for a route and gives you turn by turn directions, but no voice navigation. so if you want to use the phone as a stand-alone gps...don't!

i don't know wht is happenening wid my cute phonw..it doesn't play flash files(flv) stored in ph.nd when one time i used app locker to lock many app nd when i unlocked them they a not shown in their group folder but shown when all are open...even my media player is also not working well it doesn't show nd play the files i recently added..plz someboby help me
