July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Nokia Oyj will probably report lower profit and flat sales tomorrow, fueling investor concern the world’s biggest maker of mobile phones needs a leadership change to better compete with Apple Inc. and Research In Motion Ltd.
Second-quarter net income may have fallen 24 percent to 287 million euros ($374 million) from 380 million euros a year earlier, according to the average estimate of 26 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. Sales were probably little changed at 10 billion euros, the average of 43 forecasts showed.
Nokia, which is losing market share in high-end smartphones as it struggles to finish the flagship N8 device, has seen two- thirds of its market value wiped out since Apple’s 2007 introduction of the iPhone. The company may name a new chief executive officer to replace Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo as early as this month, the Wall Street Journal reported yesterday.

I suggest u go 4 n900 as it may be possible 2 upgrade it to meego. And also nokia nowadays seem to delay releasing their handsets and the october u r waiting 4 may be january of next year. Hope i helped u.

i dont know what will it be. whether it will have a qwerty keyboard or a on screen keyboard.
there are many ques like this which arise.
i just wanna know about what would you have done if you were me, buy a n900 or wait for one month till the phone is leaked or its specs is out.
i want a phone badly but since the new phone will be with for many years, i dont wanna make any wrong or nasty decisions.
please post your comment.
n900 is my dream phone but what if the new one is even better.
thats my question. should i wait or go for n900.

Hi Guys,
I was attracted to N900 and I bought it on impulse. Its more of a PC than mobile phone, I just noticed. I'm not too good in computer, so I have probs with this piece. I,m used to recording some of my discussions, listening to FM radio and watching TV on phone, but with N900 ? phone/PC it seems I need rocket science to do these things. Pleeease help me out.

i wanna buy a phone but this ques... moreI have decided to wait until meego comes, so thats what I would suggest to you, I almost bought the n900, but since I don't really need it as I recently bought a sony x10 2months ago.
I think u should wait a while, n900 price will also fall, but if u really want the n900 get it, because I don't think it will be available for much longer.

should i go for the n900 or wait till october when there would be the first meego phone out by nokia.
that phone will surely have a capacitive touchscreen with multi touch( the only and only thing n900 lacks)
and it will do ave some more exciting features like this one.
so what would you have done if you were in my place.
everyone is invited to ans this question as my next phone will stay with me for min 3 years so i need some answers.
