hi not able to figure out how to open 'RAR'files in this phone n also is there anyway i can use voice n video chat on yahoo & msn messengers besides gtalk n skype

before the last update (10.2010.19-1) i was able to tether my n900 via bluetooth and access the internet on my laptop. But since the last update (10.2010.19-1) i'm not able to do this. Any ideas?

i dun think so...as i said..if u wanna go for a Mini Lap in ur Hand then go for N900.. if u wanna go with a Smart Phone then go for other.... now u hav to decide wich one u wanna go with

hey Anitha. my name is Ronit n i Liv in India.I just got my N900 few months back...n i would like to share my experience wich might be useful to decide if you wana go wth this "Devil"
Benefits: -
1.Messaging--- If your a Messaging freak or like to text most n stay connected to ur frnz via various Im then its just Wonderful...the conversation feature is so much built beautiful n gives u a wonderful experience...
2.Web Browser--- Nothng to say about the Web of this Device...till datei hav use iphone 3g, Motorola Milestone n other handset but none can be compared 2 the Web Browser of N900...trust me u gonna love every moment of web..
3.Application Manager--You dun need to go for searchin software,themes,games, on google or buy them.. its just u can find them in Application Manage of N900...all new themes,games,applictions can be upated....wich is gud feature.
4.Music & Video---with 5 Mp camera wat can u expectfor the pcitures taken...its really good.same about the video too...Movies watchin in N900 is grt...i hav stored about 110 videos...including Movies,Video songs.
5. Large Storage-- with 32GB memory n 16GB external think how much can u install n watch movies...
6.Musti-asking--- wat makes n900 different from other device is multi-tasking...i hav never seen such beautiful feature in other handet..even Iphone4 has BUT WITH LIMITATION but not like N900..ONE WRD"AWSME" simply AWSOME..
Drawbacks---
1.Bulky-- its way too heavy for a gal to carry it...but on the other hand if u want to carry a Mini Lap go for N900 n if smartphone then go for Sony or any other....
2. Only Landscape-- well u can guss wat iwanna say... u need t operate with 2 hands...
thr r more Benefits rather then drawbacks...so tell me if its helpd u or not...personally sayin...Go for N900... u gonna love this Device

and i think with that kind of usage u'll get around 48hrs with the original battery also....

This is the best phone ever i had! Very very cool and cheap! Imagine that farmville, cafeworld and any facebook app in this phone! So good and great... The only problem is the battery life... But there's a 2400 mAh to doubles the power of battery life... Go for it!!

with the following usage
1. calls - 45 mins
2. bluetooth in car - 30 mins
and few other applications - wifi, photos etc. < 10 mins
The original battery didnt last for even 24 hours with almost zero usage.

guys whomsoever is planning to buy this mobile should go for this coz it might be a little too big and heavy but its a supercomputer by itself. just bought it yesterday and i tell u this the best i have used after my SE p1i

why mamemo.org site dont work ??????????????? when ever i connect to internet all site get open but for mamemo it say server not found. is there any way frm where can i download software frm pc n it will run on mobile widout internet connection??

Demetrius, 11 Jul 2010I have 4 batteries...1 original and 3 non genuine. 4 hours ... morenice work man i have 2extra and i haven 5230 so i just charge the batteries on n900 and 5230 at the same time

nokia n900 is an amazin phone and i have been usin it now for more den 6 months. n im not havin n e problems with batteries runnin out like other n900 user n i use d n900 2 do alot of stuff n im still usin d original battery.
