Hey hardik, ive been encounterd ur prblm specially on no imei no. And no phne functionlty,very simple prblem and i have a good solution?? are u familiar in nokia pheonix software in pc, jzt installed then need reprogram the n900 instead of maemo flasher use the phoenix and it works,becoz my phne b4r same prblm my freind,jzt research about the software i want to help people who use until nw the n900 im frm phillippines

ejisco, 12 Nov 2012perfect music. Highest music player phone from nokia.The best Nokia mp3 players are the N91 , the 5800XM (Tube) and then the N900/N8/N9
so, the N900 IS a great music phone (among other things) but not THE best.

muhammad mushtaq, 29 Oct 2012memo5 have update software or not last up date was about one year ago..and most likely it wont get any in the near future.
but the commuinety behind meamo5 is pretty active..so you will get an update for current meamo5 apps and they do also create new one every now and then,after nokia stop supporting it.

I'm looking for a new smartphone, I love the powerfull Nokia N900 but I want to use Android ICS and more RAM and dual core with qwerty keyboard , Now I find the samsung captivate glide, but do you know other better option to change my N900?

pritish, 24 Oct 2012the N900 is a fone i can never replace... i bouth the phone... moreI agree. It is really the best ever, and by far the best OS. I now use jellybean, its new and hot but not up to the knees of Maemo5.
Speed is the reason i had to let go of the N900. Webbrowser is too slow, memory is too small, nokia maps was more or less defective on Maemo5, so hard and slow to use. N900 was a victim of Nokias stupid plan to migrate to MeeGo, the developer resources at nokia was moved away from Maemo.
Unfortunately the N9 was not a worthy successor to N900, MeeGo was a mistake, the N950 should have been the official new linux phone and it should have been powered by Maemo6. I had an N9 and was not impressed, N9 only made it clear to me that Android was the way of the future.

sudo cp -Rv /private/tmp/pc-connectivity/10.6/* /usr/lib/
sudo cp -v /private/tmp/pc-connectivity-bin/10.6/flasher-3.5 /usr/bin/

If the answer is yes, execute the following from the Terminal to get it working (copy and paste one line at a time):
sudo cp -Rv /private/tmp/pc-connectivity/10.6/* /usr/lib/
sudo cp -v /private/tmp/pc-connectivity-bin/10.6/flasher-3.5 /usr/bin/
