is it normal for the phone to freeze during the update. if so , how long? Should i restart the device?

i am updating the phone now. The update has downloaded and is attempting to be installed on the device. But the phone seems to freeze during the process. Is this normal? I dont know whether to restart or not. Someone who has updated, please tell me if this s normal and for how long i should wait.

whats with this "there's no MMS" thng while u know very well that there is an application for that? its called fMMS.
now stop repeating the same stupid question over and over again and ask about something a lil bit more interesting

N900 has MMS.
BUT who still use them ?
Why i have to pay for something that its free ?
I mean , i can send a picture via Wi-Fi networks to any email i want, why should must pay for an MMS ?
I have had Nokia N95 and never used them. So , change song with the "OMG the N900 does not support MMS!!!!"

It's been a week and so,that i've been using the ''unofficial'' PR 1.2... and i can tell you for sure... It's f****g PERFECT!!! NO BUGS, NO PROBLEMS. Display its turning automatically when you are in the internet, now i'm writing with the virtual keyboard... This is just perfect... Bravo Nokia!!!
