N97 mini has better so... moreI totally agree with u..and i think that n97 can be every one's phone because of mature OS and available softwares but n900 cant be that yet..so for now i only recommend N900 for mobile phones experts or NOKIA fans ((to support the company ))

this is the best phone ever. i replace my n97 with this. better performance and i really love maemo. congrats nokia!

The N900 is better than the N97 in everyway.. better screen, better processor, even better looking..
try the phone out before you make an opinion about it...

N97 mini has better sound at least through the headphones, it takes better pictures; plenty of software availble, incl. free voice guided navigation, office editing software, dictionaries etc.; it does the synchronzation with PC.. On N900 all these things are "UNDER DEVELOPMENT".. for how long? - nobody knows.
Well, N900 has better screen; web brouser & skype - excellent.
So, think carefully before you make your choice.

you should check the specs my friend
600 mHz processor vs 433 mHz
800x480 pixels vs 360x640 pixels
10Mbps 3g vs 3.6Mbps 3g
Graphics accelerator vs nothing.
after all that, everything else is pretty much the same, and it boils down to whethere you are on tmobile or att for 3g speeds xP

this phone takes by far the best pictures, maybe only comparable with the SEMC Satio!!

nad, 04 Mar 2010i think its nice phone but maybe d specifction not really g... moreNokia n97 is not good. I bought it and after about 1 week, it started to freeze, crash, and the internet saved webpages and history to the internal memory not the flash drive and so it made the phone run slower.
Do not buy the Nokia N97, even Nokia do not supply it anymore!

That is why there is hardly any applications because it is a new OS to smartphones. It is also open scource which means there is more chance of getting the applications you require. Please do some research before posting hater comments. Try google!
