Go to this link and make sure you have all of these catalogs. In there you should find the fMMS app. Once you download it you can go to youtube and search how to install it. Id tell you how but my friend installed mine for me lol

now let's go to business.
you should go to maemo.org and search for pidgin messenger and download all of them esp "pidgin protocols plugin for conversations and contacts" and after installin it restart the phone and then tap in the status bar and you will see a tab named "availability" click it and you will find "accounts" at the bottom. and then click the "new" button and add as many im accounts you want selecting from the list.

But I'd rather be texting with the qwerty keyboard than in portrait mode and having to type it on the screen itself.

Barcode i know the method of SMS that you mentioned but i cant find anywhere where to find fMMS app to install as well with Fppn or whatever...if u know how can i get it plz let me know i'd appreciate it..phone is cool but actually battery life sucks a little and also i cant use 3G with my carrier only 2.5

The hash key (#) on most of the N900 phones does not work. For instance, while dialing *444# to know your credit balance, it prompts you with the msg (incorrect number). any one over there could advise what could be the problem/solution for that pleassssssseeeeee....

the game, 23 Feb 2010hi i am from omnia hd forum... I am in a state in which i d... morewell you're going through the same dilema that i went through before buying this. both are great sets but omhd is more mainstream multimedia monster and n900 is a niche product aimed at the techies.
what you can do is go 3 or 4 pages back and try to read the problems we users are facing using n900, if you can live through those then you can exchange.
oh and a new set is new experience so you may change it anyway.
