where did you find save as document?
i only see two opions, save as html and save as full webpage. if you save it by any of the two then by default it will be saved in the root folder. you just go into file manager and find it from there.
and about the "portrait mode" is the mode you get when you hold the phone vertically, and "landscape mode" is the view you get when you hold your mobile horizontaly(after auto rotation).

Mahbub, 14 Feb 2010Dear all N900 users and hoping to be an user, Good morning,... moreYour comment suggest that you are holding brief for rival company(s)/products.I have been using N900 for six weeks now.Some of your observations were not true and can only be accepted by someone or those who are not familiar with other smart phones like Iphone.HTC HD2 or similar phones in that range.One of the problem you associated with N900 is inactive of key #.This is untrue because i use this key daily to log on at work.Secondly,the battery life is not as bad as you put it.The frequency at which one uses a phone,particulaly smart phones dictate when to recharge.If you are listening to music all day at the same time browsing or doing either of this.Then be ready to recharge your phone regularly.My point is frequent charging of smart phones is not peculiar to N900.I guess you recently bought yours, and my advise is you need to read the users guide and be conversant with the features and how they work.

Dear all N900 users and hoping to be an user, Good morning, evening. I am the victim of N900. This phone has got so many problems.
1. It's battery power is very less. I need to charge it twice or theirs in a day.
2. It's # key is not working.
3. Though processor is 600MHz, it hangs sometimes.
4. It does not have 3D sound system
5. Flash is not that much effective
6. It's a sliding set, so any time it's rebon can be damaged or torne
7. It is very fat and heavy
8. Sound volume is not so loud enough
9. Touch screen doesn't response like iphone. it requires hard press
10. Finding contact from phone book is difficult and time consuming
11. You can not handle any call if it is in waiting
12. Difficult to dial another number while one call is active
13. You can not use google Map. Again nokia Map is very poor, you will not use it
14. Document veiwer is trial version, so after 30 days it will become useless
15. For this I am going to buy HTC google nexus one.
Now you thing what you will do ............

Strange that this phone is so battery power consumption where max standby is about 92h, and talk time 4h, hmm.. wot nokia is getting with it?
By the way, is it possible to connect external storage threw USB, like Harddisks or CD/DVD drivers??

I wish they make the same but candybar style thin samelike nexus and3.7 multitouch screen greater than1g processor 512 ram with new maemo6 n great battry LIFE while support wifi n wimax bluetooth4 usb 3 higher reslution Samelike laptop with flash player 10.1 to play hulu's videos smoother and whatever up to date. yea a friend of mine bought diz phon & wen i handle it i waz very happy coz nokia made diz set a different mobile of its own & its ment for mobile gueros/expert not 4 all mobile users, so if som people begins 2 complain of diz phon after buyin i wount be surprise at all, my only problem wit diz phon is dat its too big & heavy above all it has everytin needed in a mobile phon, it plays smartmovie videos, has wifi,wlan,infrared,bluetooth etc. How i wish nokia will com up with somtin smaller in size dat can be called N900 mini dat haz same applecations but smaller in size if possible with 16GB memory. Nokia plzzzz

Hi!
has anyone of you, n900 owners encountered a dis-mantled or broken micro usb port?
not so many reported of that issue for now, i just wanna know.
mine looks good, i dont know how lucky those people that got a faulty n900, and i also heard from them that nokia does not practice their 1 yr warranty on this problem

can... morefor firmware update you shuld have one of two things:
1. unlimited data connection either in 3g or 2g edge
2. or you may also connect your cell to wifi zone.
now after connecting go to "application manager" and pess the update icon. after it enters there just select "maemo5" and update it. the first update is of 10 mb and after it is done follow the same process to do the second update which is of 90 mb.
and there are no way to save drafts here(as far as i know)
and about the volume of ringging, you can try another thing: just go to settings and then select profile nd after that you will find a volume bar beside the two profiles listed, you can adjust from there.
oh and welcome, anymore problem then just write them here and i'll try to answer them.
