I modified the /etc/systemui/systemui.xml to enable reboot option in the powerkey menu of my N900. When I restarted the phone, reboot option appeared in the menu, but other menus like silent, lock screen keys, offline mode etc. appears twice.
Any experts here who can help me fix this? or can you send me their systemui.xml file thanks

you guys forgot nokia doesn't really like the US since they are gaga for iphone and blackberries
nokia always tends to the continental approch
make a phone which is compatible with everything except USA's and Canada's main frequency for 3G
850/1900/2100
it cost mosre to make one phone for north america then the international model so they said screw N.A since they don't like the phones nokia makes
and since TmobileUSA and WINDmobile's frequency is 900/1700/2100 they can make phones with no problems

candy, 12 Feb 2010is this phone able 2 record phone conversations .....???cuz... moreyou can load recaller or recorder tool to record conversations in n900.

i agree with you, NOKIA N97 comes with USA version while N900 is only for TMOBILE, hear me TMOOOOOOOOBILE.

It is better to go for N97 or wait for the N900 to become more strong in its software, since it has many missing features:
1)_ No MMS (from Nokia software it self)
2)_ No Video Call
3)_ Cant assign. tones to different contacts.
4)_ no Digital Compass
5)_ only silent & general available.
6)_ In Arabian region, No full arabic support (OS+Keyboard) from Nokia it self.
7)_No portrait Mode.
8)_No smart and voice dialing
9)_No voice recording.
10)_ No handwriting recognition.
WAOOO, many disadvantages ( 10), and i doubt if Nokia is going to adjust the above very fast cos Maemo 6 in the way, so is the N900 will be neglected when the Maemo 6 will be announced??????
So far the N97 is better when compared to the above points, but of-course, the maemo 5 is better in-terms of the OS, so we hope to see Nokia adding the above features soon, then we can ENJOY the N900 truly,,,

Glad your supporting Nokia N900 USA version.Sorry some in this forum will disagree that coz thought this phone is for aka Tmobile.Theyll trash talk you,but im GLAD your voting for USA version.NOKIA N900 release USA version.can you hear me now.

man up and plus heavy means sturdy so it can take sme hits before giving out the iphone one drop and ......break cause it mostly space and it's not solid
the HD2 will happen suffer the same fait as the iphone since it's flat and not as durable with the material they use

(except logitech generated videos, or any videos that has a very high resolution, you'll need to resize them to be able to play)
