Batterymreview for first day?
unplugged the charger on 10 am and now it's 10:30 pm still 10% left.
brightness level 3
time out 30 seconds
have been playing music from 10 to 13 and then from 16 to 22:30
played music with loud speaker for half an hour
browsed for almost 2.5 hours with the micro b browser. facebook and gsmarena but not that much flash heavy sites.
all four of my desktops are jam packed with widgets and shortcuts. and the photo viewer and facebook and ap news all were turned on.
but i kept the cellphone offline for 1 hour but music was playing then too.
talked on gsm for 30 minutes
sent and recieved almost 10 messages.
wrote some comments in facebook and gsmarena
and that will be all
oh and the music playback via headphone was 70% volume. and via speaker it was 100%
summary? the performace is satisfactory, well way better than i expected.

deep space bar, 10 Feb 2010anyone having issues again with their n900 mine now turns o... moreit may be because your flex is damaged,you need to replace it with a new one..every slider phone have flex,its like a thin paperlike wire that connects the two devices..if its broken, then the flex that nokia used isnt that strong..that would become a big issue for this phone..

deep space bar, 10 Feb 2010anyone having issues again with their n900 mine now turns o... morewell that's a weird problem. you should go and check it out with manufacturer's warranty. well mine has a weired problem too, the mp3 files just seem to stutter, itms like mini hangs, it's really irritating and also embarassing infront of friends. any solutions any one?

anyone having issues again with their n900 mine now turns off as soon as i slide the keyboard to unlock might be the battery but it shouldn't be happening anyways

cheku, 10 Feb 2010whats its price?is it better than n97?the price is around 460 euro. and it depends upon your use if this is better or not. if you are a net freak and love to tweak the engine under its hood then this is light years ahead of any competition out there. but if you are relatively new to smart phones and use phones for mainy calls and music and some casual browsing then n97 is better for you!

Sergiu, 09 Feb 2010I have the N900 for 2 days now.This is the best Mobile comp... moreare you nuts or something? who said anything about milestone? atleast i didn't.
and abot the crashing yes the phone crashes if it is with the initial firmware update. but after installing both the updates this hasn't crashed even once for 18 hours, out of which i spent 12 hours spending time downloading all the necessary apps from maemo community.
just becuase your one didn't crash that doesn't mean that everyone else is a liar.
i've been writing in the forums from way back using my n79's and 5800 and e75. i'm also a nokia fan but unlike you i'm not a fanboy. when reviewing something or reading some reviews atleast have some open mind to take criticism.
i'm typing with this set now at if it was allowed the i would have even posted my imei no. here to prove that i'm not bluffing.
the set is fantastic and that's why i bought it with hard earned money over other super phones that i was considering(nexus one, hd2 and omnia hd). all of them cost less than this in my country but i still bought this because i made a research for two months searching for phones. so from now on when i speak, you can be sure that i'm not bluffing.

people that complain this that this phone is not 3g compatible with AT&T shut up please cause N900 is still a US phone
TmobileUSA is in the US so therefore it being a US compatible mobile

Review of having this set for almost four hours:
1. with the initial firmware it came with, the set crashed and restarted four times within an hour. it happened whenever i tried to set the desktop up.
2. twoo updates in a row the set has become noticibly smoother with no hangs or lags.
moral of the story: new buyers like me don't be impatient and do both the updates first.
another thing i notice in the browser is that the keypress of the hardware qwerty is not as quickly followed as my previous e75. this happens mainly when i'm doing some installations in the background.
the browser is awesome. the best i've seen; well i guess the best anyone have ever seen.
nice and responsive screen.
the keypad is not that good. the keys are tiny and needs to get used to. and one more thing i just can press ctrl+shift cause my thumbs are too big for it.
can hardly use it in one hand because of landscape orientation.
music quality is awesome but the headphone is cheap.
the phone looks great but a fingerprint magnet and heavy.
so that's my short review. will keep you guys updated.
