i wanna buy this set!!
guys please tell me-

1.can i watch videos full screen? i mean can i fit the videos on 3.5inch screen?

2.is there any problem after installing ANDROID on it?

3.can't i use this phone on portrait mode?

      i bought N9 yesterday, its kinda interesting, am installing apps n crap now, maybe this could be fun. I didnt get the N900 feeling ofcors but lets see.. N900 was a fone that got better the more you used it, maybe N9 can do that also, it has potential.

              Take note. You should install android OS or what we call "NITDROID" on your EXTERNAL memory not on internal...dont forget that =)

                yes it is possible for you to return to your old OS w/c is maemo. all you need to do is restart the handset with slider open (keyboard shown) and then press and hold "U" key (i already forgot if that is the key XD ) it will direct you to a white screen where it will give you an option to boot on what OS you want. all you need to do is select maemo. if you want to use your Android OS just do the same steps and chose android. that is simply how its done..

                But installing another OS is kinda risky so you must study it first and always back up your data to avoid potential loss =)
                and also study first how to flash your n900 so if things go wrong. you already know what to do.

One of my friend has samsung wave 2 (8530) has installed android on his phone now he can use only android function on his phone , no orignal bada os functions.....are use more

                    @Dev and regarding to your battery life.. you said that your phone is already 14 months, maybe you really need to change your battery..just an advice, don't use your handset while charging..or you can use it but avoid heavy usage like net surfing, browsing, tethering, gaming etc. or you will just burn up your battery. this is not just for n900 phones but to all electronic gadgets actually.

                      @Dev yes there is a video call features on n900. just log in your skype account and add your friend's skype ID on your contact. You basically need a good internet connection to use video call.If you got a good connection try to call your friends skpye ID then there is actually a menu there that will activate your front cam..that is how you do video calling.

                      and regarding to your queries about installing Android OS.. yes it is possible but you will install it to your external mmc (8gig is the most avisable).. you can google on how to install it to your phone. so what will happen is basically you got 2 OS on your handset w/c maemo and android.

                        Whats the battery back up of this handset i used 1 hour internet on this handset its full charge battery compeletly drain ,30 minutes tethering by my other device and 30 min. by my sim card i used internet and 3g video call faculty is there or skype video cl is there......and i hv heard that android 2.3.7 can be installed on this device and thn we can use android function on this device......and can we download any software for tethering purpose on this maemo phn... some body help me my phn is 14 months older

                            I dont care support from Nokia as long as we get support from Maemo community since i up grade my OS from Maemo community not from Nokia updater in Nokia Suite.
                            I will use N900 for next few years for my prime set and N8 for my second set.

                                If you're looking for quality games, application and other stuff on your n900, i suggest this site noeman.org. One of the sites that helps me a lot on my n900, just put n900 on their search box.. adding repositories on you n900 is also an advice tho you should take note and study first what you will install on your device coz like what ive said on my first post most on the apps of n900 are created by dev. It can harm or it can boost your handset to its maximum performance.

                                    Just tried the lumia 800, well its all simple and good...but definitely not a phone for a hardcore N900 user. God I hate Nokia for discontinuing Maemo! I doubt I would ever change my N900 to any other phone! Been two years already!
