I also just talked about a minute ago with one of the nokia people (thanks to their chat on the official website) and they confirm "end of the month".
so I'm afraid people are gonna be really disappointed this week end.
What's funny is people are probably gonna complain saying that nokia is "delaying" the N900 again, but nokia actually never officialy said that it will be out on the 14th or the 16th. they stated "end of october" and since switched to "end of november".
deep space bar: btw, I asked about the rumored "white" N900 and the denied it.
Plus I asked if we could hope a carrier would provide the N900 in USA (which would make it cheaper with a 2 years contract) but again, they said no.
As far as the MMS support, they said :" if it's not ready when the N900 comes out, it will be available soon enough with an update".
So we're still not sure if it will be there for the launch (I hope it will, but it's not really an issue for me as I send about 1 MMS every 2 months).

Andy Burgin, 09 Nov 2009The Official release date is November 16th as i have just r... moreI need this phone purely for professional reasons and I think a lot of phone manufacturers realise that there is a huge consumer market of serious phone users who need these mini computers.
Having a slide out key pad may make the phone bulkier but that doesn't really matter. Having an onscreen keyboard means you loose half the immage when your typing!
I think the majority of iphone buyers for example, don't really need such a phone. Its more of a fashion statement or a status symbol. no less than 6 of my close friends have ipnones and frankly none of them really need it or even use all the functions.

The Official release date is November 16th as i have just recieve a email from 3g news about the release date so the N900 an X6 will really boost Nokia sales,an hope both handsets sell well,why is it all of a sudden every mobile being released as the querty keypad,o.k the might look o.k but it makes the phones alot wider an heavier an spoil the phones

too heavy 200 grams is like two chocholates in your pocket but the performances is very good as i see 256 ram is for greetings and qwerty dashboard too (I phone) is for homos take nokia is my advice but n95 8gb is stil invincible REMEMBER TO ALL MOBILE PHONE FANS ON TOUSHSCREENS YOU CANT PLAY OLD GOOD GAMES AND WRITE MESSEGES LIKE MAN

I thought N900 is due to be out in the market in early Nov...but now it's already 10th Nov and still only available for pre-order...it maybe delayed again...I hate waiting :-(

i'll get this by the end of 2010 or early 2011, coz i know its has some bugs on the software/firmware with the 1st batch to come out. this a good replacement to my N95 8GB.

I have never like the iPhone but I got one anyway, reason for this is cause I know I will be able to sell it for sh*t loads cause there are some stupid people that beleive the iPhone is god. But I'm going to sell mine to get the n900 and I cannot wait, I'm sorry nokia for doubting you this year please forgive me ( but I'm sure people will agree with me that nokia have taken there time to make a decent phone since the nokia n95 8gb
