robin, 05 Jan 2012i hv a n900. after buying it,i found that the fonts and tel... morego to application manager and looking for font application and install its in your N900.

the best phone i've ever had.
i prefer the OS and it's so advance and intelligent.
easy to handle problems, only problem i got is little bit slow. but that's not a problem for me. this phone has some special feature which cannot found in new nokia models.

i hv a n900. after buying it,i found that the fonts and telephone digits are so tiny to read without glasses. is there any tips you can offer? tq.

That N9 is better than the N900 bec... moreNope Demetrius...u got me wrong here. I meant to say that there is an application which is yet to get released which will work in N9 that will break the barriers of apps and thru which all the android apps will be run on Meego on N9.
My query is simple...will we be able to use this app in our N900 also so tht we can use those Android apps too.
I dont mean that we have less number of apps here at Maemo but there are few good apps also in android which we can make use of.

That N9 is better than the N900 because it has the ability to play with the Android ?
I have installed the Gingerbread on my N900 a lot time ago, and the results are the same :
Android is a flashy stupid OS. End of story.

i hav recently trade-in my xperia SK17 mini pro for this fon
coz SK17 has:
wifi bug
bravia that just at its 'name'
small display
hard-to-protect back glossy cover
1ghz scorpion that behaves like 700-800mhz cpu
n im grateful to hav this fon esp internet browsing..many times faster than sk17
n its exclusive design that no its 'china made' copy
n last but not least . .i LOVE its weight!
heavier is BETTER!

wow, its almost 2012, the N900 is entering its 4th year as the best phone, FOURTH YEAR! Quite incredible, still by far the best Nokia has to offer, and compared to other phones lets have a quick look:
1. the only phone with a full browser, not mobile version browser.
2. The only phone with an even fuller additional webbrowser (Iceweasel/EasyDebian)
3. The only phone ever to fully support Java Applets in the webbrowser (through Iceweasel)
4. Multitasking that matches N9 to the fullest, no other phone comes even close.
5. and so on and on
It just had to be great when it came in 2009 and by 2012 none has matced its capabilities. What other phone from 2009 is even remotely useable today? Thats how unique and how ahead of its time the N900 was, and still is.

th3d, 30 Dec 2011I have other brand coz nokia doesnt have anything good enou... moreTotally agree with you, But am tempted to get a SGS2 because of the full flash suport (1080p in browser) But had an android phone. N9 is good, but no keyboard, no flash. I have N900. If N900 had a dual core with 720p video in browser would be perfect, screen 4.3 and 4r kb aswell. WP awful, those tiles, it is like a children´s phone.
